This isn't something that happened to me, nor do I plan on doing something like this in the near future, but I was wondering (after having figured out a strategy that might work for me in WW2320 blah blah blah): How many armies would it take for you to replace a Boss 1?
I know the answer is subjective, so let me set up a bit of detail. It's a map of ~1.5k territories and it's a 3v3. (Think Rise of Rome but 5x more detailed, and with less bonuses.) You get a choice - start with a Boss 1 or X armies more than usual. How many would you want before replacing the Boss 1? (Reminder: It's 400 armies, the square it's on has no fog and it dumps free armies every 5n+1 turns).
Given the situation, I'd say 600-700 armies. The free armies are kind of worth the anti-fog, but I'd like to hear what the general community thinks.
Around 600 (possibly a bit lower) armies will kill boss 1 assuming default kill rates and straight round. It is possible for players to get bosses in single player community levels not not when creating a regular single player or multiplayer game.
assuming players could have a boss i still would always pick the armies and never the boss. 400 armies would be enough for me. 1 boss can only take 1 territorie.. with 400 armies i can expand way faster and get way more income. choosing the boss is just dumb.
