I've been sort-of inactive on warlight this summer, and I've been interested in getting active again. If anyone who is in like the 2000s on the 1v1 ladder could invite me to a game (any strategic settings), that would be nice.

Benjamin wrote in his opening post that he prefers we invite him to the game, which is fine since finding templates and creating games can sometimes be a hassle.

I made some MME games for Benjamin and some players here to join. I know that MME might seem boring to some of you who have played the 1v1 ladder and autogames a lot, but I think it's a good map to start with, and I already had the template saved because of another game I'm in. :)

Yes, it is a hassle, which is exactly why it isn't fine IMO.

You don't ask people for help, and make it a hassle for them to help you. If there's some legwork involved involved it should be done by the person who's requesting the favor.

I'm not alone in that belief. See how both Ollie and Rogue posted "Invite me".

I see little need to sugarcoat things. I'd never dream of asking people to do me a favor, and then expecting them to jump through hoops in order to do so.

Are you depressed or something Nauz? I said invite me because I didn't want to check the thread every 10 minutes to see if someone wants me to invite them. I see that Ollie and RNK, who are both very good players (unlike you, who makes an alt then plays against noobs to show off 78% win rate) asked to be invited so I will spend the literally 10 seconds it takes to create a game with them.

I'm not sure how I make an alt and then play vs. noobs. That account has played almost purely QM. It's rated close to 900 on QM. You're aware on QM you don't pick your opponents, right? If I cherrypicked opponents I'd have a 90-95%+ winrate. 78% is quite low in all honesty.

Ollie is better than me, no question. RNK? Doubtful. I've had more ladder success than him on literally every ladder except 3v3 which I have never played. I'm also 2-0 vs him. (Officially 1-1, but no one in their right mind will look at his boot win and refute I'd won the game before booting.)

Not sure how that's relevant though, you asked for people with 2000+ elos to play vs. you. I certainly match that criteria. I'm certainly far better than you. I never once bragged, boasted, or claimed to be anything special. You just randomly started trying to call me a bad player because I criticized you for expecting others to put more effort into helping you than you do into helping yourself, which is laughable, since I am absolutely - completely, out of your league.
