Any good players interested in playing a best of 5 series? You versus an [X] player who has undergone the first step in learning to become a better 1v1 player. Let's see how much these [X] players have learned already. Pick your poison:
If any of those players would like to invite me to a game, by all means (please make the autoboot either never or at least 5 days). 5 games might be a bit much for me right now, so if anyone of you guys would want just 1 game to test your ability, I'm available.

This clan is, to me, hillarious. While most other clans seem to be primarily a group of like-mined players, the [X] just seems to be some strange cult of worshipping Gui. At least, judging by some of the chat messages I have gotten in games against his minions.
And of course, the first step of becoming a good player is doing what Gui says.

lol. not really. a former secretary of defense said "the more strategic options you have, the more powerful you are."
i offer strategic options: what do impaller, zaeban, hhh, mian, retro, unknown, teddy, others do to be good 1v1 players? what do the fbgs, trock/martin, v/chaos, monsehnor/hhh, and others do on the 2v2 ladder to be successful? the only game i say what i do is 3v3 europe.
ultimately, the players will play their own mixed style, which should be interesting to see.

It doesn't seem to me to be much of a clan at all.
Not every group of players lumped together need to be a clan.
Regardless, it's a nice idea from Gui, had it been any other high-ranked player making it, I am certain there'd have not been such an instant dislike to it.
Just because you dislike Gui doesn't mean you should jump to attack every word and idea he utters.

Your minion played valiently, Gui. Solid start spots, good initial expansion. Bit of an overcommitment with the armites in central america on turn 5, but overall, solid play.

I could help in these people trainning.
just invite me to any game
people who want to learn are not anyone's minions. you insult them by saying that and they don't deserve it. if your problem is their mentor you should point your arrows at him instead.

Something for Rosston to consider when picking (even while expanding too) is not just where he would like to start, but also where he thinks his opponent might want to start. If you know that, you can take a pick that will ruin his plans, or at least gain knowledge of where one, or two, of his starts is. Then, you can expand accordingly.
I'm not sure why he attacks neutrals with so many armies sometimes.
Aside from this, he's not doing bad. The rest is all about military strategy, which is hard to learn and takes experience. Just consider your opponent as much as you consider yourself. ^_^
