Fizzer removes the ability to upvote posts when people misuse the system. I've never had such punishment leveled at me. Guess why? I don't upvote or downvote posts. I think it's a stupid system, and I'd remove it because it's only used as a popularity contest as opposed to being used for its intended purpose.

I've also never, once, reported anyone for insulting me. I'm plenty capable of receiving repercussions for the shit I dish out.

As for RNK: No worries, I'd never ask someone that goes full Boston and blames their opponents for being "unpredictable" when they lose to them for advice. You played greedy and got punished for it. No one else who watches that game is going to agree with your narrow minded view.

I think Gnuffone could've done all he did in warlight without cheating or stalling (except Season 14), just saying so you don't need to trash someone who isn't around to defend themselves.

You keep up bringing up your skill doing runs, but honestly, there's really not enough information about you to know how good you actually are. You've done well on ladders, but you've never stuck it out. You quit the MDL almost immediately. Never impressed on the RTL.

I disagree. People think, I think, I am better, than I do.

Manager's League, everyone else put me in a higher tier than I put myself. Literally, every other judge ranked me higher than I ranked myself. I know I'm good at the game. I know roughly who I am better than, equal to, and worse than. To some degree such comparisons are completely subjective and hard to judge due to the wide array of templates and lack of large sample sizes of head to head matchups, but I do not remotely consider myself to be one of the sites best players. I also, certainly, don't worship the sites best players like Pulsey likes to claim. I call out the top players on a regular basis when I think they're wrong.

For the last few years I have been trying to make multiple accounts to hit #1 on the ladder but I always fail because I'm a shit player. My best ever is #4 but I know I am much better than that.

I have a very big ego, this failure is making me very bitter and as a result I always find myself worshipping the better players on this site and trying to dick measure the lesser players and tell them how much better I am to make myself feel better.

I don't see myself being able to quit this game anytime soon. I feel very inferior to players who have been able to get #1 on the ladder. Please help.

This part is weird, but at least you're worshipping people for actually being good at something because Nicki Minaj and Drake sure aren't. A slug has twice the talent as 90% of the rappers that play on mainstream radio stations and this is not even disputable.

Most people feel inferior to other people because of their looks, life accomplishments, talents and personality traits, etc. You feel inferior to people because they are good at an indie game? I'm telling my therapist I'm depressed because I can't hit 1st on the 1v1 ladder, let's see what she says.

In all seriousness getting 1st isn't going to be easy and doing a couple runs doesn't change that. There is also some degree of luck and chance is involved, so the best thing you can do is keep trying. You can invite some elite players to MME games and some will probably accept and give you advice if your play isn't up to par. GL


Oh yeah and join 101st. That's probably the best thing you can do if you want to get better. (And don't think I'm a shill for 101st because I'm not even in their clan)

This wasn't a serious thread Misaka, he was trying to troll me. He described a bullshit scenario in an attempt to mock me for not having obtained the 1v1 ladder trophy, while he himself only obtained it by stalling his ass off and gaming the ladder. If I was a tenth as concerned about getting the trophy as he likes to pretend in his obsession-filled post I'd have had it 2-3+ years ago.

I have made roughly a dozen accounts. Suggesting I have over 141 is ridiculous.

You're also implying I said he was a bad player. I did not. I said I do not consider him to be a top-tier player.

That doesn't mean I think he cheated in every tournament he won. It means he would not come close to making a list of the best 10 or so players as far as I am concerned. This may surprise you, but lots of people who aren't top players have won WGL tournaments, gotten rank 1 on ladders, won seasonals, etc.

I am certainly not alone in not considering him a top player You are one of the few people that look up to gnuffone as being something special. He was a good player. This site has had lots of good players.
