Create separate tournament for each country (where warzoners come from) then invite well known players into their country's tournament.

For example: Create a tournament named "Who is the best player: Canada" and invite all of the top Canadians to fight each other the winner is the best player for that country.

Nations Cup might help identify some best players from different (less know?) country. (A bit date now thru)

The tournament idea is trash. For example, Benoit can beat Ruthless Bastard in one game. He'd still be a worse player.

Benoit has 2 trophies, 2v2 and 3v3. Ruthless has 3, 1v1, 2v2, and seasonal. He also came in the top 10 13 times, and has 4 second place finishes. There's no comparison between the two.

Benoit is a good player, he could beat Ruthless in a head to head game, but that'd never make him a better player, as Ruthless would absolutely stomp the shit out of him if they played 20 different 1v1's on 20 different templates.

Well, I sniffed throught AWP and MDL and ladders and top clans, but certain players just weren't there :)
Also, missed that Ruthless is still playing, being currently active was one of conditions I used.
And we could create long flamewar on Quicksilver/Deadman or Rakleader/Malakkan , I simply used my personal opinion and that's it.
