Adobe will stop supporting flash at the end of 2020. So at most, you are good until 2021 with flash. The main thing is also the fact that browsers have already started blocking flash by default.

if flash gets removed i would most likely stop playing the game as i don't like the new layouts. but that will take a wile what i think will happen is that when fizzer adds new things to the game they will not be added to flash and that this will make it outdated and is what will kill most flash uses.

It’s possible to keep Flash available on your browser as long as the browser is never updated after the removal of Flash.
What about the layout don’t you like?

Pretty sure it would be announced if flash was being removed. Also flash is required for making maps.

The new layout is really bad and unnessecary complicated.
It sure "looks" fresh, but the old one was more fun and gave
a better strategic overlook and faster handle.

I will probably end my time here becuase of this.

I generally dont like changes. Takes time to get used to every new system.

Comparing this to Flash, this is a lot quicker. Flash was getting laggy on bigger games that meant I could not start medium sized games; I love the big games and the smaller ones dont really do it for me.
The new speed is incredible. About 10 times faster on the one map I am playing. Love it. An hour a move turns into ten minutes.

I also love the long list when I am deploying. I play a lot of LD games. When the map is big, it is very easy to miss somewhere that has not been deployed to. That long list, with a different colour for non-deployed areas, makes it a lot easier to spot.
However, the long list is not scrollable. I cannot see the bottom of the list. When I have missed a deployment, to fine out where I have to manually go to each and every place to check. That hour per move now takes days potentially.
I would prefer to see this list on the edge, not 10% in from the left.

Make the list scrollable and I would love the update.

im sorry for all the work put in but i switched back after 2 games with the new interface.
Either my machines, my internet-connection or the engine over at your servers lags the hell out of the fun playing. Im pretty old skool and simply love the simple and easy to play older version.
I was delighted to see I could switch back easily.

Once again, Im very happy with the game as it is... Dont fall for all new features that only take away the feel that the game is about the play, not the graphics.

I strongly dislike the UJS appearance and features. Speed was not an issue for me, and I don't see any difference in that respect. I don't think the changeover should have been imposed. It would have been healthier to offer it as an option. I've switched back to Flash/Unity.

UJS was probably forced as Unity was slow and Flash on majour browsers is either not installed or blocked by default.

In distribution mode if you click on the bonus number to see the territories, the tooltip that comes up obscures the actual highlighted territories. Once the tooltip disappears it's pretty hard to actually see which territories are still highlighted.

Bugfix update!


4.08.3:
- UJS: Fixed the map page's "More Info" button so that it opens in a new window.
- Unity/UJS: Pressing the left or up arrow keys while watching a turn play now goes back orders. Thanks to Jeffo8 for reporting this.
- UJS: Pressing shift+enter in chat now creates a newline instead of sending the message. This allows sending multi-line messages. Thanks to Domenico for reporting this.
- UJS: Fixed cycle dialog so it no longer says "null" on a game's first turn. Thanks to TBest for reporting this.

I am back to flash for now....

Before it was easy to see that player have become AI, now you can see that only if you drag cursor over his name
I dont like fact that I have to open two windows if I want to see full settings. Short settings are given with icons, so when I click settings I do that because I want to see all.

It would be useful to have analyze attack button inside attack window.

^^ Players that are AIs in Unity/UJS have a slightly blue colour; non-AIs are black.
