You should do your best to at least build some sort of itinerary if you want to do something like this. I mean, you want people to drive hundreds of miles just to hang around and play warzone? Probably something I would not be as interested in.

That's fine; we almost had 4 people and only 1 was going to drive a couple hundred miles. I think this will still happen when the dates align for 4+ people.

Someone else is welcome to organize a bigger event, with a rented venue, a schedule, maybe a presentation or two, and I will try to attend.

My plan is to do one when I go to grad school. But that may be in New York.

I could do one this spring in Ames or Des Moines if there is enough interest... My problem is I don't have a car... and I also get the feeling many people don't want to travel that far.

That’s why I want to meet at Brony Con. We just do Brony Con stuff and I guess some Warzone games idk. Depends if we feel like it.

But really the best bet is something on the east coast. And I think more than 4 peeps will be more attractive. I still like the bar idea. I don’t drink but the setting would be better IMO.

If i go to new york for grad school id defo organize one out there.

Probably 18 if I was to do it so I don't run into youth technicalities when I plan it.

I think the interest in America is greater, but it's also a very big country, lots of people wouldn't want to drive 10 hours for a meetup, much less pay for an airplane ticket. But I think if we planned it during some nice weather, we could make it a fun event, and get a solid dozen people to show up (me included).

At what point is it no longer a USA Warzone meetup, and more of just a Chicago Warzone meetup? I would be down for an event in Iowa, or even just making friends with other players IRL. But I don't know about driving to Chicago, and I imagine I am about as close as it gets, relatively speaking.

If I go I just wanna make fun of the people I used to know. The old competitive TJC crew, some of FCC etc.
