As mentioned earlier, we will be using the Dowdall system to resolve votes. Anyone who has completed all 20 games in any one of the last three seasonals (Season XXXI onwards) is eligible to vote. Please order all the templates as per your preference (1 is most preferred, 3 is least). If you don't list all of the templates, your vote will be ignored. Also include a valid link to your
ladder team's games page. Make sure to link the ladder games page not the team page, as this makes it easier to verify that 20 games were played.
Voting will close on
Friday, October 26th, 2018.

For transparency and to provide feedback and guidance to those who created or submitted templates for this season, we are providing the general reasons why each of the excluded templates was not chosen.
- Archipelago Brawl: The first pick is overpowered as it both grants +1 and combos with another ftb. The template also has some other balance issues. We also wanted to avoid a vanilla 0% SR template so soon after the last season.
- Auto Imperium Romanum LD: Local deployment is not suitable for a Seasonal template unless it has modifications that enable the game to finish quickly.
- Choose your Opponent's Picks: We loved the concept and think it would be great for a seasonal. However, we felt that the template itself was lacking and we didn't want to waste the concept on a subpar template.
- Diplomacy: This is not appropriate for a strategic ladder competition.
- Eastern Kingdoms MA+LD: This is a fun concept and has been used successfully in the past, but in some test games we ran into some stalemate situations.
- Georgia Army Cap: This is an ok template, but the worst of the 3 army cap submissions. In addition, it can become a pick lottery sometimes due to the large bonuses.
- Gotham: We played INSS too recently for this to be considered.
- Greece LLFD: This is a decent standard 0% SR template. However, we just played a season on vanilla 0% SR and this doesn't really have anything that makes it especially interesting.
- Income Ambush: See Auto Imperium Romanum LD.
- Lebanese Attrition: The template plays well, but there are some aspects that can be improved. In particular, some bonuses are effectively +1/2 or +3/6 giving the false impression of granting income. In addition, Bork is a superior utilization of army cap.
- Phobia WR: It is a good template, but settingswise it is similar to British Raj. British Raj is superior in terms of balance and gameplay. Failed 3v2s are also much more likely to be pivotal in Phobia than British Raj.
- Unforgiving Strat 1v1: There is too high a risk of stalemates occurring, which is a dealbreaker for a template.
