The last RT ladder match was played over two days ago. There's no point to even joining the RT ladder now, because you have to wait so long you'll likely forget you joined it and get booted. With QM replacing the RT ladder's reason to exist, the ladder is on life support on a good day, and fully dead any other time.

Quick-match fighting is currently a far better competitive landscape, but it needs better access to statistics, and fuller integration into player profiles. It is obvious that QM has replaced the RT ladder in all but name. Let's finish the transition.

Question: if you're a new player and join the RT ladder for the first ever time, how can you even expect to amass enough games to reach an 1800 rating? Playing enough to even get past the provisional rating is difficult now.

the trophy is hard toget but you can easily get to1700 rating or even 2000 if you win all your games, the problem now is the ratings are massively deflated, players with 1500 rating sometimes play like 1700 but you get huge penalty for losing

Let's say that most brand-new strat players would be lucky to debut on the RT ladder with a 1300 rating. Probably closer to 1100. So the question is, where does the remaining 400-800 points come from if no one ever plays on the RT ladder?

Just had a good battle with Dom (he pulled 7 first moves on me in a row, thanks 'random' move order).


Anyway, there isn't a reason for Fizzer to take it down. It doesn't draw any of his energy, so why bother?

Also it just takes you 4 wins or so to be past small earth on qm. Commander on the other hand will always be on the rt ladder

The RT ladder is indeed very out-dated compared to Quickmatch. To remove it though, we'd have to find something else to unlock at level 43 otherwise that level would lack an unlock.
