... then why aren't you using them?
https://warlight.uservoice.com/forums/77051-warzone-features/suggestions/1088481-peace-treatiesThis was the #1 requested feature for years. Well, now that "peace treaties" are here, why aren't you using them?
The Diplomacy mod is here, it works fine, and non-members can use mods if the member that creates the game checks a checkbox that allows non-members to join. Every week, a member can create 1 game with mods and invite non-members for free! After the first game, inviting non-members costs 3 coins per open slot.
So, let's use it!
I know not everyone will buy a membership.
I know with the Diplomacy mod that Fizzer created you don't start at peace like you're used to in regular diplo games, so use the Safe Start mod to set a number of turns where no attacks can happen the first X turns.
I know with the same Diplomacy mod peace lasts X number of turns instead declaring attacks and waiting 1 turn like you're used to in regular turns.
I know the "Advanced Diplomacy" mods that dabo1 created have bugs and too many popups, so let's use the "Diplomacy" mod.
It's so nice not having to declare war, deal with PEs, deal with 1000 lines of chat looking to see if anyone declared war on you.
But no one really uses these mods. No one other than dabo1 and a couple of other folks are involved in creating mods. Let's get more people to make mods, create games with mods, and join games with mods.
Fizzer recently updated the Diplomacy mod and allowed non-members to be invited for free once a week. Let's make diplomacy mods happen!
I created a game with the diplo mod, please join:
https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16820019What's stopping you? Don't like the settings? Tell me what settings you want. I personally don't like the custom scenario setting where someone starts as a big income, say, Russia, and steamrolls everyone while the small countries scramble for alliances. I also dont like endless Game of Thrones roleplaying and clogging the chat.
