This is a tournament game that I want to share with you to analyse. Here are some notes That I have myself.

My starting position was on a +1 Bonus but there were many big bonuses nearby.

Matty B's starting position was In a + 6 bonus

My ratio of neutral to attack was not right.

I should have shaded my income a bit- he surrendered because of seeing my 252 Income though

You'll find that this template wasn't a very good competitive template. It would be far more worthwhile to focus on the QM/ladder templates; both the quality of fighting and the potential for learning are far higher. :)

If you want, I can invite you to a 1v1, multi-day, on a template that would be more instructive

In my experience, the 2's on the east cost are the best picks. However, with 1 pick, you can loose to a counter so there is that

That was the second game of the tournament.

I followed your advice and chose the east coast to start. My opponent made the same mistake I did. by choosing Prince Edward Island. He had A huge stack of 100+ Armies. I tried to use the same strategy as in the Single player level World war 2320 when defeating the boss. I finally defeated him by not focusing too much on his big stack and focusing on the north. He tricked me once by freezing his stack for one turn and making me lose troops on his big stack

Just as the game started, My opponent also was online and we finished the game in 30 mins. I was pretty pumped up about reaching the round of 32. I want with my winning pick last turn, Rhode Island. My opponent had a trick in mind. He had seen my previous wins and had seen where my picks had been. He then saw that I had first order and picked Rhode Island( to make sure I was there) and a territory in New York state 2 Territories away. He knew that I would spend troops attacking the neutral 8's around.Because he was 2 territories away, he knew that I was going to reach him soon. He then built a stack and waited till I saw him. When I did he had 34 troops. I startes to stack up in Rhode Island to fight. I then lost because of an Ingenious( cross that out) Diabolical trick.
Grrrrrrr...

What I should have done was to calculate that he would beat me and that I should have ran.
