I'll provide a little background info before I begin

As you may know, I stream on twitch. I play all sorts of games besides warzone. Anyways in one of these games there is a troll who harasses tons of streamers in games, making fake accounts to spam their twitch and games with offensive stuff. They had to make the game pay to play because of it, it was that bad.

Anyways, normally that wouldn't be an issue here, because he usually only does it for that game, and not this one. But today it seemed like he was doing the same for warzone, which was a bit strange. It seemed pretty focused on me, but I just wanted to let you all know here just in case it happens on other streams. I've dealt with it for several months and they will probably attempt to join random games to spout random nonsense and throw games and also spam twitch chats.

Of course, I think warzone is much more developed and prepared to deal with this kind of problem so maybe I am worrying too much. But I wanted to just let everyone know just in case it happens here. If needed I'll provide some additional info to make sure this doesn't become an issue and I encourage others to do the same as well.

If you haven't already, you should also report the player. As you may know, there have been spammers with VPN in WZ's past history and I think Fizzer has some countermeasures that can help out.

That being said, using prereq, even low once and blacklist does go a long way of stopping accounts made just to troll since they often are less then lv 20 and less then 30 days old for example.

EDIT: Twitch also has a way of dealing with spammers who uses VPN and are banned from a streamers channel chat, if you report it to Twitch. So that is worth doing too, if he followed you across games.

Man, doesn’t even have a good name. I would just blacklist him and ban him from your twitch. Try your best to ignore them. That’s all they want is you to say something about them.

I tend to stream with invite-only games/tournaments, and WGL is a tournament so if he attempts to troll there he'll probably just lose embarrassingly and not get featured. Thanks for the heads up though

Thanks for all the replies I already have those measures in place but I just wanted to let people know especially the twitch spamming part because he is pretty determined on that front. Carry on
