No it doesn’t seem like the ethics committee will be on my side. I came to understand it wasn’t against the rules but I got frustrated at the lack of transparency

At the end of the day with these real-time games, It's your responsibility to know who your playing against and that the set up makes it a fair game between yourself and the enemy your playing against. Cakes didn't do this, atleast not until halfway of the game, than proceeded to stall like a petulant child because he decided to feel cheated instead of realising he was a nonce for not checking the settings of the game. The game rules can only protect you so far, It can't protect you in this case because theoritically 3 highly skilled players can join or 2 alts with a skilled player puppeting can happen making the game theoritcally fair.
Side point: If you want to learn 3v3 EU, I would recommend analysing Clan League/3v3 Ladder games or linking distributions to the Discord chats, It's more beneficial to learning than playing against 3 open game players who will likely have no understanding about the template.

Playing with 2 accounts or 3 accounts in 3v3 RT open games is surely an advantage. Atleast for manual pick Fall of Jerusalem (long long ago), Siege of Feldmere (long ago) and Rise of rome (sometime ago), games are in favor of alt teams due to lesser communication/fights.
I agree that it is difficult to manage orders and not get booted, but if there are no reliable team mates to play with, managing boot time is like 10 times better than arguing with the non-co-operative team mate(s). With reliable team-mates sometimes the other team won't fill at all and "alts" are helpful for this-as I can fill a 3v3 Rt game easily with this account or 3 new accounts than with 1 or 2 or 3 of my older accounts. Instead of playing 1 game of 30~40 mins with a troll/toxic team mate-arguing with him/listening to constant blaming, I can play 2-3 games in the same time with alts.

"In an RT game with 6 min boot, not having to communicate with teammates is an advantage for sure."
2 minute turns instead of 6. Yeah, seems super advantageous.
Not.

@Joker
In your scenario playing with alts gives an advantage due to having a team with stronger players. A team with stronger players having an advantage is obvious; in order to figure out if using alts gives an advantage you need to compare a team of 3 alts with a team of 3 players of an equal skill lvl to the player that uses alts.

stop thinking about others could do and start thinking about what you could do

Platinum I actually asked within the 1st turn but yeah i guess you can exaggerate that to half way through the game....
RT ALT gamers that have a 6 minute clock should be able to respond within the first 5 turns in group chat.

Hate to be blunt, but you're probably not a good player. It is disadvantageous for Tito to play open games with randoms because they are usually bad, and won't even help him to improve.
As far as you, when you get a random player, they're likely better then you and can carry you.
@Cowboy: No. For sake of skill level, initially I started at ~1750 elo in 1v1 ladder and now I am at ~2000 elo rating. Coming across random players better than me/capable of carrying is rare. Like 1 in 50 games or so, or that being new alts of players like pichu/leviathan. I agree, Tito won't improve playing with randoms, but it will help to get familiar with the map. I guess he plays RoR, Guiroma and MME a lot and probably starting EU now.

@Chicken: I have played both with and against stronger players; when I had played against them, my team was weaker-be it my alts or me+open game players-who don't play Ror or Sof or Foj (2v2,3v3,4v4) often, pick lesser picks randomly and attack/expand randomly, with lesser or no communication. Skill level I assume it map specific and/or 1v1 ladder rating at that time. If I win like ~80% or more while playing with stronger players, I win like ~50% or less while playing against them, of which like ~60% being full alt team, ~30% being good players and ~10% co-operative normal players. Very few games, maybe 1 out of 30 games, I get a stronger team against a strong team.
With alt teams, I had lost too-but not as bad as those games with non-alt teams.

@Cakes: Why? They have no need to and it is better to say it at end and not waste time arguing, if someone throws a tantrum like you did.

Thats a very confusing paragraph you created there, but i guess its bottom line is that an alt team has the advantage? That may or may not be true, i never stated anything diffrent nor did i support that opinion.
