After the latest update in mobile;

When I ok in the text box it posts my message, and it clears my message when I click outside the message box. If I want to link a territory in mid message, I have to break my message up.

p.s. I hope this is the correct forum for this topic.

When I ok in the text box it posts my message

This part is intended. A change was made in the latest version of the app to avoid having to click twice to send messages. Clicking "Done" will send the message immediately instead of requiring you to click "Done" and then "Send Message".

it clears my message when I click outside the message box.

You're saying that if you type a few characters, click outside of the keyboard to close it, then look at the text box the few characters you typed are gone?

That doesn't happen for me on my phone. The few characters stay there, and tapping them brings up the keyboard again and lets me continue typing where I left off.

Please describe in more detail exactly what happens, and also share what phone and Android version you're running since it may be dependent on that.

I hope this is the correct forum for this topic.

It's not as it has nothing to do with code. I'll move it to Help for you.

I had a similar issue when i tried to link some territories.
So i typed some text, clicked [OK] to get to the linking symbol and the text was already sent.
My workaround was to not click [OK] - instead of this i clicked out of the textbox (somewhere on the map) and then clicked the linking symbol.

Yes, this is intentional. In the future I hope to fix it so that the link button isn't covered by the keyboard, to save a step.

chat loading times are better, but this "ok" to send really bring problems for longer messages, when you need to refer to something to continue writing. Hitting ok instead of just hiding the keyboard ensured that the typed text didn't disappear partially or at all, thing that commonly happened when losing focus of the typing window

Btw, when i start the app it always tells me i have new message in the chat (top right hand corner)
When i open the chat i see the old messages and the red 1 disappears.
Next time i open the app i have the same issue.

Thanks for the response. My text doesn't go away anymore. I wonder if the update was fully installed in my phone.

A note for clarification;

Pre-update I had to click ok to keep my updated text from clearing.

For example if I type "Hello" then ok. Then I add to my message "player" and thought how do I spell his/her name. I click out of the message to look at it and it only says "Hello" where it should say "Hello player".

I see the button now says 'send' instead of 'ok', which is more clear.
