I don't think anyone believes this. It's just generally assumed that highly skilled players are more likely to be content if they are already in an elit(ist) clan than if they are in a clan where they are significantly better then the rest of their clanmates. Recruiting has a low rate of return at the best of time, so most people don't particularly want to waste their time if they assume there's minimal chance of success.

I always thought that list was sorted by the number of times you played with that person, not the number of times you invited that person. I am pretty sure my list includes players that I have never invited -- or maybe they just joined my open game?

You misinterpreted. When you go to create game --> invite players, it shows the people who you played with the most. That's what TBest said.

So if platinum fails the Turing test (probable) and is shown to have the IQ of a snail (highly probable), does that mean I can stall against him? And so multi-accounting and hacking for a trophy are respectful of fellow players now huh?

@FiveStarGeneral: Lol, but sadly the clan league ethics committee only punishes actual rule breaking. Sadly I can't help you there. If a member was to activate a vacation on another guys account, only the two involved parties would know anyways.

To my knowledge M'Hunters was a victim of other clans cheating last season and not vice versa. Apparently you have to live with the fact that a non elite clan can win games in A in a fair and square fight.

I guess it kinda sucks when ppl spend money on clans only for their players and hard work to be taken from them but being a good leader requires a huge amount of commitment and effort, that's how things are in the real world. You can spend money on your own business, but if ur not willing to put in the work ur business isn't going to amount to much.

But anyways, I do find clan poaching a bit cheap and I think it is interesting how different players view clans.

Maybe I could get your opinion on that as you seem to be one of the world's leading experts on clans. Do you think they should kick me for that? What if I were to start playing on their accounts or give them advice in their games?

I totally agree with ChrisCMU here, the clan leader should be able to grow with his clan mates. I am the perfect example for that, once I got the feeling that I am not able to grow with such monsters as AI, Aldehyde, TBest, Norman, EmuPub and others I stepped back from the management and now am just trying to catch up with them.
