Blitz beats Nuke Diplo

Blitz team doesn't mirror, but makes 12 picks while Nuke Diplo team makes fewer picks clustered. With clustered picks , they couldn't expand as fast as their opponents and with growing income, Blitz team defeats Nuke Diplo team.

Disco beats Nuke Diplo

Only MrTrolldemort makes 12 picks and all others makes fewer picks clustered. After picks, Lancealot finds himself in a 1v2 situation, which the Disco team capitalizes on and even with gift card, he gets eliminated in few turns. Andrew has an income disadvantage and in 1v2 situation, he surrenders, giving Discovery their win.

LEA vs Wizards

Both teams don't mirror and LEA chooses less than 12 picks clustered in few places. Moussa finds himself in 1v2 situation early, but quickly uses the gift card. With Kero expanding freely for first few turns, there is a small income difference, which grows later to seal the game as LEA's win.

USSR vs LEA

Both teams don't mirror and one from each team makes picks clustered. With Wesley's picks near Kero's and
Varakreivi eliminating Moussa from one of his starts, with a small 2v1 advantage USSR duo punishes Kero hard and even with gift card, they couldn't come back. This results in USSR grabbing the win.

HAWKS vs Blitz

Both teams fully mirror the 24 picks, Jefferspin and Axl grabbing a+3 as FTB. Tito gets a double border over Axl's FTB and J.P eliminates Master Turtle from one of his starts. With Tito not breaking the bonus and not taking Denmark in two turns, Axl manages to push him back, with J.P gaining a double border and pressurizing in center. Jeff grows fast, but fails to eliminate J.P and Let's Fight nearby, which HAWKS team uses well to break his bonuses. With Jeff's boot, game ends in HAWKS victory.

HAWKS vs Nuke diplo

HAWKS team makes 24 picks fully mirrored and from Nuke Diplo team, only Bigger Log makes 24 picks; other two players make fewer picks, clustered. Bigger Log boots in 1st turn and then Lancealot boots next. They play few turns and game ends in HAWKS win.

Blitz vs Nuke Diplo

Blitz team makes 24 picks fully mirrored and Nuke Diplo team makes fewer picks, clustered around few bonuses. Bigger Log makes 24 picks only to get booted and with AI Nuke Diplo team struggles to fight the fast growing Blitz team. They fight for few turns and then game ends in Blitz's win.

Blitz vs USSR

Blitz team makes 24 picks fully mirrored and USSR team makes fewer picks, placed as few clusters. With Blitz team getting islands and growing faster, USSR team struggles to grow as they find themselves in a 2v3 situation, Varakreivi isolated and away from the fights. Blitz punishes hard and over course of time, USSR team surrenders.

Disco vs USSR

Disco team makes 24 picks fully mirrored and USSR team makes fewer picks, grouped around few bonuses. MrTroll fails taking a FTB, but with Varakreivi isolated from his team and with a 3v2 advantage Disco team grows faster while crushing other 2 of USSR's team. He tries to fight with what income he has, but doesn't turn the game around and Disco team grabs the win.

Disco vs Nuke Diplo

Disco team makes 24 picks fully mirrored; Nuke Diplo team makes fewer picks and Bigger Log makes 24 picks only to get booted. With AI, they find themselves in a tough spot though other two were trying to keep up with the income. Because of no help from AI and better expansion for other team, Nuke Diplo surrenders.

Hawks goes 2-0. BLitz goes 2-1. Disco goes 2-0. USSR goes 0-2. Nuke Diplo goes 0-3.

Blitz vs HAWKS

Both players get intel on one of the picks of the other; Master QB goes for +4 bonus as his first bonus and Cicero goes for a +3 bonus as his first. Since Master QB grabs his second bonus(+2) ahead of Cicero, he uses this income advantage to grow faster and seal the game as his victory.

Blitz vs USSR

Both players get their first 4 picks and with failed 3v2 attacks Master QB fails getting a FTB and Wesley fails to get his +3 bonus turn 2. Due to Wesley attacking 3v1 for his +3 bonus, he misses out getting a second +3 on turn 3 and puts himself behind. Income-wise he gets even for a while, but fails to go towards Master QB's bonuses and with a double border, he fails to break any bonus. This mistake is punished by Master QB, who then expands and takes out Wesley's income, resulting in his victory.

Blitz vs LEA

Nicforth gets intel on one of Master QB's picks, while Master QB gets intel on 3 of Nicforth's picks; the latter fails to grab a FTB due to failed 3v2 attacks- but stops the former's FTB with a counter. This puts a small income gap between the two, which is not closed till the end, resulting in Master QB's win.

Blitz vs Discovery

Both players get their first four picks and with Master QB grabbing his 2nd bonus ahead of Captain Trips, he uses the advantage of those extra armies to grow faster and keeping Captain Trips' growth slow. The army advantage grows bigger and bigger, resulting in Captain Trips' surrender.

HAWKS vs Discovery

Both players get intel on one of the picks of other and due to Cicero grabbing 2 +3 bonuses against Nicforths 2 +2 bonuses, manages to grow bit faster. Also with Nicforth giving one of his starts and blockading the other, he gains momentum and over course of time, grabs the win.

Wizards vs USSR

Both players gets their first four picks; Erza picks 4th pick in a wasteland and Wesley fails a 3v2 attack on turn 2 and fails to get a +2 bonus. Due to Wesley's bad luck and slow growth, Erza's luck the income advantage gained during first 2-3 turns is in favor of Erza and they fight for few turns till Wesley's bonuses are broken. This leads to his surrender.

Wizards vs LEA

Erza gets intel on one of the picks of Captain Trips and gets +2 FTB. Game is even in income for a while, till Erza breaks Captain Trips' bonuses and manages to outgrow him. Then it ends in Erza's win.

Wizards vs Discovery

Both players gets intel on one of the picks of the other and Nicforth grabs his bonus first, but fails to capitalize on slow growth of Erza. Game goes back and forth between the two and in the end Nicforth boots.

Blitz goes 4-0. HAWKS goes 1-1. Wizards goes 3-0. USSR goes 0-2. LEA goes 0-2. Disco goes 0-3.

#Master [QB] goes 6-0 and wins the tournament. Cicero XXII goes 5-1 and is the runner up.

Let's fight gets intel on two picks of Master Moto and the latter gets intel on 1 pick of the former. Moto gets a +3 FTB and a +1, but gets eliminated in his other starting spot. With even income, game goes back and forth, but due to Let's Fight's safe income away from fight, Master Moto surrenders.

HAWKS vs Wizards

Master Yoda gets his 10th pick and Let's Fight gets his 9th pick. Master Yoda manages to eliminate Let's Fight from two of his starts, but gets eliminated in two of his starts and getting a multi border over Yoda's bonuses and non-stop growing, Let's Fight grabs the win.

HAWKS vs USSR

Let's Fight gets intel on 2 picks of Prophet and the latter gets intel on 1 pick of the former. Game is even for few turns, with both players growing and once Let's Fight gets a multi-border and breaks Prophet's bonus, the income advantage makes him to fly to his win.

HAWKS vs LEA

Kero makes only 5 picks and loses one of those; he gets the random pick also near to the cluster and Let's Fight safely grows in his other picks and destroys Kero's bonuses with the pick he stole.Overpowered by Let's Fight, Kero surrenders.

Blitz vs USSR

Prophet gets intel on one of the picks of Master Moto. The latter gets +2more income turn 1 and eliminates Prophet from one of his starts. With income advantage and safer income, Master Moto breaks Prophet's bonuses and rushes to his win.

Wizards vs Nuke Diplo

James makes only 5 picks and loses one of those picks. With slightly slower growth, he falls behind Yoda. Though he manages to catch up on income, he fails to defend the choke points and falls prey to Master Yoda's attacks, giving the latter his victory.

USSR vs Nuke Diplo

James makes 6 picks and gets 6th pick; Prophet eliminates that pick and takes that zone for himself. With safer income, he manages to expand faster and better pushing back James over turns. At one point, the army advantage is too big for Prophet and he grabs the win.

HAWKS goes 4-0. Blitz, Wizards and USSR goes 1-1. LEA goes 0-1. Nuke Diplo goes 0-2.

Congratulations to (ง︡'-'︠)ง let's fight!! and #Master [QB] for winning their respective tournaments with perfect scores.

With most of the games completed, it looks like Blitz and Hawks fighting for who will be finishing first. With Hawks getting wins over Blitz in 3v3 EU and 1v1 Hannibal at the gates, they will be having the edge if both of them tied with TP.

Wizards and Discovery are competing for the 3rd promotion spot. Both of them are struggling to keep up with the top two clans, but on brighter side both are pushing towards going to Div.C

USSR and LEA fighting for who is getting 5th spot; USSR still has a hit at 4th spot. LEA is ahead in TP, but behind in MP, unless other clans lose more MP, they getting 4th is less probable.

Nuke Diplomacy is struggling at the last spot. They had non-joins and boots, but they're playing the games and should be preparing for the next stage.

Thanks for the write up Sakata Gintoki, looking good for us. Definitely a some interesting games left.

The 2v2 Final Earth between Hawks and Blitz, will probably decide the winner. As you said in a tie we will have the edge, as such they losing 4 points against us will make this come true. Of course that also means we gotta win all of our games left.

Looking forward to C either way, hopefully we can reach top spots there too.

Many players switched clans or left clans during stage 1. Do this players are allowed to start in their previous clan in stage 2, though? Or would they have to rejoin their clan for tourney creation in stage 2

Yes. As per the rules, it is only needed for a player to be in clan during the start. Unless, there is a rule change implemented, these players can represent their clans in stage 2.
