Let me clear the air for those that jumped to judging before they got a clear picture of the situation.
The Future of the {101st}
Due to the substantial size of our clan, the council has decided that the {101st} is prepared to take the next step in developing our clan networks.
We are preparing to enter into the next phase by officially establishing [Lynx].
Unlike other clans, [Lynx] will only be open to those that have become a member of the {101st}. Also, any member of the {101st} will have a chance to become a part of the [Lynx] by being an active part of the clan. This can be done by actively taking part in the clan forum, showing an improvement in gameplay and communication during team games.
Several [Lynx] players will remain in the {101st} and along with the newly appointed council, oversee activities and help organize training for those who are interested in being a part of the [Lynx} in the future.
The [Lynx] is still subordinate to the {101st} Airborne Division, under the leadership of General Apollo. It will be made up of members directly from the {101st}. The two clans will also continue tournaments between each other similar to those recently set up by JSA.

tl;dr - The Lynx is still subordinate to the 101st and they are officially recognized as ONE CLAN. Official or not in the clan list, they're still connected. 101st will be represented by 101st players and Lynx players in all events.
This is new for some players, the concept doesn't make sense to them, let me give you an analogy.
Do you know what autonomous means? No? Okay, imagine a country, let's call it the "Empire of Cool". The people in the Empire of Cool are called cool people. Still with me? Good. Now, there's a small province in the Empire of Cool called Awesome and its people are called Awesome people. These people wish to regulate their own political and economic system, but don't want to be independent from the Empire of Cool, because well, they're pretty cool. So, they ask for autonomy, which is the right to run their own show, but still swear fealty to the Empire of Cool.
This is what Lynx did. Now you may not recognize this move and claim Lynx effectively declared its independence, but who died and put you in charge? You don't get to make decisions for other people and your opinion doesn't change the facts to your liking.
If Lynx and the 101st are still part of the same clan, as per the plan, then there should be no F**KING debate.
Now ideally, we wanted to allow the 101st to represent themselves in the clan league, but the wail of the barbarians at our gates made us take a step back. The barbarians were offended, claiming this was unheard of! It's new and therefore bad! All hail unquestioned tradition, laws are laws and can never change! Smite the sacrilegious fiends!
Okay, okay, we're sorry. We renounce our claim of making two separate groups and we simply say that Lynx and 101st will do as they had originally planned and represent the 101st together in the CLAN LEAGUE and ALL OTHER CLAN EVENTS.
Let it rest.
