I apply a diplomacy card to one of my opponent.

However, this same player attacked me the next turn. He also changed his name. I guess by changing your name you can block a diplomacy card. Not really nice though...

I hope I have been clear enough...

Ben, you will have to wait for the game to finish to get any input on the matter. As of now, visitors can only see the combat with unknown army totals and no card plays so it's impossible to determine what the situation was.
