I'm not trying to start an argument with you, so I'm not intending to discuss whether what he did was right or wrong. Here is my thinking though.
Why bother setting the boot to 2 minutes in an open seat game if it's expected that people don't boot?
If you have to trust random strangers not to boot after 2 minutes, wouldn't it be just as easy to trust them to play quickly with a 3 or 5 minute auto-boot?

2 minute boot times seems like the dumbest option to select, especially if you would complain about getting booted later. Just set it to 5 minute boot time and be done with it.

IronHeart - ilpeiggore says not to pick spain in a different map (I can't remember the name of it for the life of me). Besides, this isn't the time nor place to comment about it.

Agree with everyone one else, amusing that it was his own settings though; we don't see too many of those.

at least he voted. if he truly wanted a cheap win at all costs he could have had it. but yeah both the 2 min setting and the boot would have annoyed me.

Although, true that the boot time is quite low, and that it's not illegal to boot. However, i wish not to play against players that boot without asking, to me, that's cheating, plain and simple. Thus I bl raverbaby.

I'll just disregard the fact that the guy complaining is the guy who set the boot timer to 2 minutes, because that part makes no sense...
But seriously, i don't understand why people complain about boot times in real-time games. Especially when its an abnormally low boot timer like 2 minutes, it forces quick thinking... and that's the point. By going over the set time, *that* is "cheating" and you shouldn't be allowed to remain in the game after doing it.
Multi day booting standards are very different imo. I would only boot someone in a multi day If it was a tournament game and they were over 3x the normal limit. If its not a tournament game, i probably wouldn't boot them until over a month.
