Personally, as this is the first tournament, I don't have a set number, but I would like between 16 and 32 players to join. If we get a power of 2, then it'll be a single elimination tournament. If I do not get a power of 2, then we will do groups, followed by a single elimination tournament.

*Note: Later rounds may feature 3/5 templates, in which case I stop when there's 3/5 templates left.

As of now, I'm leaning towards every match being 1 game up until Semifinals, where that, the bronze match, and the finals will be 3 game matches.

Obviously the number of groups and number of people in each group will vary depending on how many people are playing.

In 3 rounds we should have 4-5 people with 3-0, and then another 4-5 with 2-1. Hopefully that works out properly but at least everyone plays 3 games.

I thought this was seeded why must i play King purple first round?

Honestly if you lose to him you're likely to slide in 2-1 after groups as most of the worse people will probably be paired with you rounds 2/3

Basically: 3-0 assures you're in. 2-1 means you're most likely in (There may be a tiebreaker if there's 9 people who went 3-0 and/or 2-1.) 1-2 or 0-3 means you're out (But I'll still make games for 0-2 people so they can save face and try to have a win)
