Hi, just wondering if there is a way to delete old games as I have one that is still going on real-time whose last turn was taken 59 days ago!! (because AIs are set not to surrender but the guy is not taking his turn)

I know there are different settings to show/hide active game etc but the setting I find best means this game shows up. Is there a way i can actually delete the game from 'My Games' not just hide it?

That game should fall prey to the "abandoned games" mechanic in about a month if your opponent isn't active anymore IIRC.

at 100 days the members will be warned that the game is about to become abandoned, at 114 days the game will be officially abandoned, afaik.

Why don't you boot.

He's surrendered and gone AI, which means he no longer has that option. The only people in the game who can still boot are non-AI, and it sounds like the only non-AI is a guy who stopped playing Warlight.

Yes ^ he's inactive for 111 days apparently :/
(but he's the only one left in the game and last turn was 58 days ago - how is this possible?)

If he commited orders and then want innactive, while another player who haven`t commited orders gets innactive/ don`t move for many days(I don`t use my mind to find out how many).He then surrenders/ get boted (surrenders is more likly, since sombody will have to bot him) The setting turn him into an AI and the turn pass, 58 days ago.

Well I guess i was right, I will make a list to explain:

1. JG (the innactive player)commited orders for turn 24
2. Jules gets booted (I don`t know by who, but it wasn`t auto) he turn into an AI
3. JG is now the only player left
4. This happend 2012-02-19 12:25:59 (I don`t know if it is the start or the end of turn 24)

Some thing is strange tough, questions like who boted Jules (History don`t tell, but it wasn`t auto bot and JG was proably innactive at that point 58 days ago) appers unansverad.

Jules was booted by the abandoned games mechanism.

The game was played in May 2011. The game stopped in state where JG committed his orders, Jules didn't, other players were AIs. Then on January 26, 2012 Warlight was updated to include the abandoned games solution. Since the game hadn't progressed for way over 101 days a warning e-mail was sent to Jules and after 2 weeks (few days later actually) he was auto-booted. The turn advanced and now you're waiting for JG to be auto-booted which will happen at least 115 days since the turn advanced, that is soonest on 2012-06-13.

Why a problem? I'd say this works as expected. If you're saying that JG should have been booted or that game should have ended when Jules was booted then I say it shouldn't have happened.

JG committed his moves and booting him at the same time as Jules would be unfair. And game's settings say that he should finish the game against AIs, so ending it now would also be unfair.

JG might have just had a personal "I don't boot. Ever." policy and decided to wait for Jules forever. He might have wanted to make his move after Jules was auto-booted and we won't know that unless he actually doesn't move for the next 115 days.

Well me and my teammate got booted immediately after 5 minutes by Jules so JG waiting for him is a bit unfair. :/ I doubt that he did.

Oh, I'm also sure that he didn't, not in this case. But in another game somebody else might. All I'm saying is that the game engine shouldn't boot JG together with Jules.
