and holy cow that map is huge. It's funny because we already have Georgia, Washington, Hawaii, and Texas (which is a huge map in itself). Only 46 more to go!
Thanks for the complement!!! I am glad you like it. It took me like almost 6 months to build that crazy map from scratch to finish including researching. It was kind of hard to find all the detail maps with counties boundary displayed clearly on the internet, and then even harder to determine how I should separate each bonus territory cause if you notice, some territories are made up by their counties, some by cities, and some by geographical zoning. For instance, if I separate Thailand or Vietnam bonus into counties instead of geographical zone, each of them would have at least twice as many pieces of land as Cambodia, which is already a pretty crazy one (as if 522 pieces of land on the whole map is not already crazy enough).
Then there was the naming of the lands, the bonuses, etc, etc.. Making the connections of all the territories was also a major pain in the butt, I should take a screen shot for you guys showing the map when all the connections are highlighted. Just looking at it can give me a headache, it was like a spider web without order.
It was just crazy amount of work. Made me admire those people who draw real maps as their job.
I am currently working on another map. Again, researching is taking a lot of time cause I am building a map at the time of 1939, not that easy to find those map for every country on the internet. Hope I can finish this one sooner now that I have experience from the Asia map.
devilnis, I would think counties map of the US shouldn't be that hard to find.
Just as Ruthless has mentioned, we already have a few states.
A US map with all the counties would be awesome. We can have another fun Civil War game. If I build such a map, I think I would go all the way and include Canada and Mexico.
