In this proposal, I say that if a Uservoice has over X votes, say 50 or 100, that Fizzer will make a determination, on if this is something that will be done, won't be done, or maybe will be done if it gets more votes.

This will free up votes for other ideas once they've been considered.

I dont think vote level should determine feature implementation. I have seen many ideas on there with dozens of votes...an the idea is terrible

Unless you can vote doen and get unlimited votes ( one per topic), it would not work. Something might have 50 votes, but would get 200 negative votes if the system existed

I didn't say he needs to implement the idea, just decide.

He's free to do whatever he wants with his game, (to include ignoring uservoices).

However, I am just asking him to judge once it gets popular. If 100 people have voted for name changes every day, and Fizzer doesn't want it, just say so. Decline the response, free up the Uservoice Votes for the 100 people that cast the vote for the name change.

For example:
Pink Bladder proposed "Peace Treaties" on 9/26/2010.
619 Votes For.
38 comments posted.

I'm sure many of the people that have voted for this idea have already moved on, if not to afterlife but to another pastime.

What's the point of keeping this top idea pending? Does it need to get more votes? Its either something Fizzer is going to do, or isn't. No need having that as a "Top Idea" for 3.5 years.


As to downvoting, you are free to leave negative comments on the idea without voting for it.

As DarkCausX so eloquently stated in his comment about Peace Treaties: "Peace in FFA is for gays xD"

Oh yes i agree he should resolve old ones or votes are tied up until manually switched. But maybe some might happen but are too complex. How should he resolve those?

If I know for sure something will never be done, I decline it right away. You can see this in many ideas if you search.

If something is completed, I mark it as completed (unless I missed something, in which case let me know).

Everything that remains is in the final two categories: on the "accepted" list, or on the "maybe" list. I prefer not to reveal which are which, since if I revealed something was on the accepted list it would just cause everyone to move their moves off of it and onto something on the maybe list. Or, at the very least, they'd be less likely to vote on an accepted item since they'd have more influence by voting on a maybe one.

This would skew the results and make them harder to interpret what people really want.

Come on guys, you got to stop doubting Fizzer. He knows what's best

Case in point... my uservoice was declined and last i checked, only 6 votes. Declined a not even popular idea!
