Well i get to take mek on in a 3x3 tournament. I'm intimidated. Is tthis thread psyops?

1v1 prowess doesn't necessarily translate into great team play: not counting boots, i'm 0-3 or 0-4 vs impaller in 1v1s and 3-0 against him in 2v2s (his teammates: ruthless, hhh, monsenhor chacina/myriad). all games were on his beloved medium earth when i was still learning to play it better. too many people conflate 1v1 medium earth (with cards) ability with overall ability.

if impaller, troll, fizzer, monsehnor chacina, the real denzyman, lobstrosity, mek blaze, v, chaos and zaeban rejoined the 1v1 ladder (and lollipop guild, szewengin, fatih, aziridine, azazel, and saladin were added to the mix), the 1v1 ladder would be great.

I'll pressure V and Chaos to rejoin. Hopefully they have been away long enough to be ranked lower than me for a few days!

There is, in my opinion, much more opposition now than, for say, 6 months ago (roughly the time I had as a ladder player). I saw a couple fairly good players bonify like wine who are now contesting for the top spots in the 1v1L, and although I had to step back a couple times from the game and stop overachieving as I did for a while, I can tell it's much harder to keep up against top-20 players right now, I'd say it's like the top-10 6 months ago (not even mentioning the permanent fact that it could be much harder if all skilled members actually played at the same moment).

And @Evreux : you keep forgetting Yeon in your top players' list ;o)
