i was meaning record on most games won. If i was him, i'd leave ladder now and claim #1 3 months later.

I only looked at one game: http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=5942672 but based on it I don't foresee him achieving any sort of extraordinary ladder rating.

He makes some very awkward picks, his 1/2 pick are safe, but they also have no expansion, which makes his third pick his only chance for long-term expansion, if he didn't find the opponent very early he'd have almost certainly been far behind them in income by the time he eventually did.

He'd have been in a much worse position if he had split the Russian combo, as is he won easily due to Intel though.

no his picks are very good actually, only thing i'd have done is switched 1,2 and 6 would be closer to Asia. If he got his 1,2 he gets 13 on turn 3, if he gets #2, he can counter Ant. Fantastic.

But anyway thats not the point, its the fact that he's got a longer win streak than anyone i'v ever seen.

He's rank 103, a long win streak isn't particularly difficult when the average opponent you play is 1535 rating.

Piggy's current streak is far more impressive IMO, 20 games vs. 1535 rated opponents compared to 14 games vs. 1835 rated opponents.

I actually am curious abut the origins of his win streak though, people ranked 103 don't win 20 games in a row, because they're typically rank 1-3 for a reason - incompetence. He's either improved recently, a LOT, or he was likely losing games on purpose to drop in rank and rating so that he'd be more easily able to try and chain together a bunch of wins when he started trying again.

Oh lol that's me

The reason I won so many games in a row is because I joined ladder when I was a noob and ended up losing a lot causing me to be matched with weak opponents.. At some point I rage quit the ladder and surrendered 5 games I believe before they started causing my rank to drop. After practicing a lot and playing games with perquisites I began beating my opponents with ease and as I slowly started getting matched with better and better players I began improving preventing sudden losses due to better opponents..

In terms of the Japonse Sofado game, you should look at my other games, I've been playing a little worse lately

regardless, 20 wins in a row is extremely impressive. Even 20 wins in a row against noobs is good, however small the chance, theres always the chance the noob gets lucky and beats you.

Potato recently got a lot better, I play rt with him semi often. hes top 20 material. He played and picked decent in the game with safado.

Maxi has improved ALOT the last few weeks, and i belive he has a fair chance to beat pretty much everyone in here, with some luck on his side.

It is.
In the "auto game" you will probably get around 10 wins, and then a shitty game where you lose and blame the luck. Overall the opponents in the auto game is worse than the opponents maxi get in ladder, and he won 20.

Maybe you are right, but that's not the point here! Why take away maxi's fun?
