I recently upgraded player statistics data. Top 10 lists, overall player standings, ongoing tournament data all have been updated. A lot of games will likely finish soon, so for best statistics check the tournaments themselves. The next statistics update should happen in the 2nd half of August.

If you're interested in joining WUS 2nd season, send me a mail or leave reply on this thread. I'm personally working on some other objectives right now and no longer am actively looking for more players, but it doesn't mean that you can't join. There's enough room for at least 20 more participants.

My next plans:

• Make more updates to WUS main thread (adding 2nd phase statistics, frequently asked questions and more updates).
  
• Make sure that all tournaments get made on time.

There were no new reservations for remaining 2 2nd season tournaments, currently they both have 2 reserved spots each and there is still plenty of space for those who would want to join those tournament early and reserve themselves a spot.

I want to remind you, that because you reserved a tournament, you don't automatically join it. I'll invite you to it, but you will have to join manually. Reservation means that you will be invited 24 hours sooner, but if you don't join during those 24 hours, next list of players will get invited and the tournament might start soon without you. If you want to know when each tournament starts and how invitations will be sent, check the main thread for dates. Next tournaments will be made on 10th and 13th of August around 15:00 London time (UTC +1).

Some rule violations happened in Bomberman 1v1 tournament. I have contacted the rule violators and already had some conversations regarding this matter. Motivated by this newly reborn problem I went and created a video about Warzone Ultimate Series rules. In the video I go through all the important rules, give examples and explain the importance of rules. Here’s the link to the video:

I reworked overall layout of the main thread, following things have been added:

• 2nd phase statistics for challengers and participants
  
• Frequently asked questions
  
• 3rd phase rules

This was a big update and multiple posts have been added, plus I rearranged position of some of the pages, to make post order make more sense. On top of that a lot of minor edits have been done as well. The newly added information is highly informative and should give a better understanding on how WUS functions and what’s its current situation.

Each account has 5 tournament creation limit, my current account already has 4 undergoing tournaments and as result I had to level up one of my alternative accounts. It took a day and many played games, but eventually my level goal was reached and all the remaining tournaments should have no issues with their creation date. My next planned actions:

Warzone Ultimate Series August 21st Update

All the tournaments have been successfully made and the information regarding them has been properly updated. I updated the statistics for all the individual ongoing tournaments and for all individual players. A lot of games are currently ongoing and some of them could finish soon, so the current statistics will likely get outdated soon. Currently I am focusing on some Warzone non related projects, so the next update might take some time to happen. The next update will mostly consist from a few extra review videos and updated statistics. I'm considering to replace some of text based statistics windows with pictures, which should help to make overall faster updates.

I'm currently still preoccupied with some university tasks and don't have the time to make next update right now. But the 1 month thread deadline is approaching, so I'm making this bump to avoid this thread getting too old for posting. I hope to be able to make next real update in next 1-3 weeks. I'm not sure what my exact schedule will be, some of the yet to be given university tasks might prove to be highly time consuming, so if it happens, I'll make another bump in the future.

hey, the 1-month deadline is in 2 days so this is a double-post lol.

I will be dropping out of this and I am in TOOOO many games so, I will be surrendering in the rest...

I have enjoyed my time with this series, indeed I have, but I am just getting into to many game with too less of time. If I had time, I would play all of my games out, but, the choice is surrender or get booted... and I still have quite a few on-going games.

I'm bumping this thread for the time being. I got more activities to undergo than expected. I plan returning back to making normal updates, but need to complete other tasks first in real life. Also recently I joined Nations Cup and that took some of my time too. I joined it because I wanted to help out my nation and wanted to be part of its 1st season. I didn't plan joining it beforehand, so after doing so my amount of free time greatly decreased.

I should have more time in December and certainly more time in January. I should be able to make proper updates then. Before that day comes, everyday I will be working on ensuring that my current work/tasks/goals get achieved as quickly as possible, so that there would be no more delays.

Nearly forgot to make bump this time around. My exam session is close to an end, so soon I'll have more time. In near future I'll start contacting some of professional players and will start arranging 2nd phase games (regular and special tournaments are near over). From current participants 10 will get to play in it. 5 from the special tournament and 1 from each regular tournament.

It might be hard to sustain continuous activity as I will be studying in university for 2 more years, so I might remove leaderboards in the future.

I'll make more updates in future and there should be no more bumps for the time being.

do professional players earn money? :))

They should be earning a lot of coins if they want to get profit from their skills. Basically top 25 players from 1v1 ladders, top 10 from 2v2 ladder, top 5 from 3v3 ladder, top 25 from any seasonal ladder, top 20 from multi day ladder, any one with at least 1000 quickmatch global rating is a "professional" player. This grading might not reflect the actual elitism of the challengers, but last season all 5 participants failed to pass through them, so for the time being the "professionals" are really professional.

Unfortunately I wan unable to make any progress, hopefully this month will go better. If anyone had false hopes, I apologize. I'd like to not make these bumps and make the new post when things get done, but I need to make at least 1 monthly post to keep this thread open.
