I don't know about the others but I, for one, would . I have always enjoyed games with you. Only problem is, I am very busy moving into a new apartment and am on summer break so my game rate is very low. Maybe we can put this off for a while or do a multi day.

As for this whole argument, I really just don't see why many of you are so opposed and call the whole clan noobs?! First off, the idea of a clan is to play together against others. You also neglect to check all the components of the profile. FFA for instance, is not a team game and many of us have a fairly good ratio. Nevertheless, there are better players; we never claimed to be the top nor the best in anything. We enjoy playing together because we work well together, whether it is a 2v2, 3v3 or 5v5 etc.

Anyway, let's put these differences aside and have friendly and competitive games.

i am a bit disappointed reading that some guys take so serious a GAME.
We NEVER said we are the best and we always were respectful with senior members of WL.
But respect must be mutual.
To Retrospeckia and other player that think our stats are "pumped out" i respond that this is not true. Reasons are many:
- requisites to join our clan are very high (70-75% wins) so we select only good players
- we are highly especialized in very few maps (some of our member only in 1 map) and our strenght is TEAMJOB. Most of us are italians and some of us are close friends in real life. So as you can understand, we are a very compact group, and our aim is to play together at warlight. Personally i dont like 1v1 for these reason. I occasionally played it in real life europe map and as you can see in my stats i am not that good as i am in 3vs3.

I think it's ridiculos that some of the best players invited us in 1vs1 in maps we never played before with settings we never use and pretend we are coward because we dont accept.

Myhandisonfire, your proposal is reasonable and we are honorate to accept it. But we will never force you to join our team or to stop playing WL, if you want it it's a your choice. We play only to have fun. For the match i prefer a series of 5 matches to minimize lucky starting points effect, settings could be manual random warlords with 16% lucky or similar.

i think most people are opposed to the use of the name 'elite'. "we never said we are the best..." we only named ourselves the elite (with a table pound # and exclamation point for emphasis!).

if most of you are italian, a better name might've been 'la mafia', 'sicarii', 'mafiosi', 'gladiatori', or anything cool related to roman or italian culture or history.

Evreux, good point. I haven't thought of it like that but honestly, I think it's an awesome name for a clan. Not to sound rude nor personal but I think it's our (or originally Belzebu's) choice. I mean, when I was still with the Warlighters for about a day or so, people I played with thought that I worked for Warlight, haha. So, unless it is against the rules, which it clearly isn't, it's our choice to keep the name. Then, you mention the table pound or exclamation mark. I think it just looks good, there is nothing to it. It's just like other clans who use brackets to separate name with clan name.

Other than that, I do believe that we, or most of us, are somewhat elite. We are better than most players in this game, not the best, but better than most. That is exactly what the stats represent.

Just remember, each to his own.

Your claims are ridiculous ..... and the WM clan? War Masters .......there are players like Bais, sailor , vapor x and others so are totally noob and not for sure Masters .....but I always respected them and I never asked them to change the tag team!

We are elite because we are good players and we are competitive ,not only in europe, like the 90% players of this game but in a lots of maps.....

Elite is just a name. Personally me and belzebu are attached to this clan tag since few years ago in other games (mainly fps) and never happened that other players dont like our tag. These are silly behaviours.

About renaming our team with the names you proposed like "mafia", "mafiosi", "sicari" or similar i hope you are joking or simply you dont know anything about my state (notice that italy is a state not a nation!) because differently i consider you highly offensive!

You can not expect to have a clanname like "Elite", along with an attitude of superiority transported on your profiles and not offend people that have proven countless times to be counted to that exclusive club you claim with your clan ID.

As with War Masters, the clan name is so ridiculous that you would feel like a child fighting for a shovel in the sandbox , if you want to set claim on that tag.

The people I know and count as the elite are mostly individualists. In very rare circumstances they would kongregate under a group identity. Allthough in general to modest to publicly announce themselves as the elite, they nonetheless feel to have claim to be part of that small circle. Is it honestly so surprising that they challenge you? Even more so when they feel their claims concerning your stats seems valid?

You are dealing with people that won countless 1on1,2on2 or 3on3 tournaments on various maps, some of them with the hardest competition available in that particular timeframe, yet their stats appear even weaker than the stats of your clanmembers. Does that seem right to you?

Don`t get me wrong, personally i have no problems with your clanmembers that i know, but even I feel offended by that certain attitude of selfrightousness that was transported in some of the comments. That is the reason why i said i am willing to challenge you in the way i did.
Everybody that knows me a bit better, is aware of the fact that i would not join a clan, yet i keep my word.
So if you manage to win that one game out of three games, i will join, even though i would personally feel to have lost the right to count myself to be part of an elite of any sort.
And yes... I would stop playing warlight if i would lose them all.

- i didn't *claim* anything. i said 'i think' (an opinion) and talked about being cool (coolness is a perception, nothing more).
- [WM]? (1) WM masks the pretension by using an acronym. (2) #Elite! shouts out "#### I'm Elite! Take notice! ####" (3) a 'master' is a status dependent on one's self and is in no way a comparison to others. 'elite' implies a comparison to others. (4) i doubt any of you are actually elite in its truest sense and limited only to warlight ability. WM could still be masters of war, even if they are not among the elite.

in any case, good luck with your clan. maybe find a better zookeeper to keep the animals tied up.

Well, I hope Apex doesnt sound pretentious. Because we do believe that any result that matters comes from winning against the best in the board. We never would step back for statistic purpose.

And one thing about clans:
I think clan is a good thing and more and more good players should think about joining/creating clans. The fact some people have opinions against just say to us that we are amateurish compared to any other given online game.
I think most of good players thinks that a tag would eventually reduce the individual sense of achievment that comes with good results in this game. But when i play Bishes, sze or mex blaze I know how they play and they should be respected for their play, the same respect (aka fear) its not extended for other players in their clans just because of the tag, each one still play the game individually.

I'll take my time to contribute exclusively because I was happily refered to (free of charge) as a noob, whereas I think of myself to be a slightly above average player.

First off your statistics are insane, and that is not a compliment. Those kind of win rates are possible only if you pay against pidgeons or inanimate objects. I hope it is generally agreed that a 60% win rate against other above average players is unarguably a better sign than a 95% win rate against puppies, candle holders, dirty socks etc.. Statistics lie, I believe (and hope) that most good players aknowledge this.

Second, I take from your clan's bio: "We take pride in working as a team, yet being just as deadly in 1v1 situations.". So why have you been using over and over (and over) the excuse that you do not play 1v1?

Having said this, I am not interested in all this hate, nor in having any game for honor's sake. I play this game for fun and I joined WM to improve; I made these observations while reading this thread and intended to keep them to myself until I saw my name coming up in such a unclassy way for no good reason.

To sum it up: your stats are fishy, denying that would be unbearably hesilarating. That alone is not something I would even waste time on, but acts of arrogance and the dissing of other people which are possibly not even present is not something that buys peoples' hearts.

Dear Warlight players, that is a type of tournament that you should avoid.

Aspect #1: 1 starting territory is obviously not something preferable to players who want any type of control over the picking stage + no recovery possibility.

Aspect #2: Cards, the old saying that sometimes "less is more" really is very true when it comes to cards. Blockade + reinforcement, ok, but those + strong reinforcemtn + OD + airlifts? A bit too much...

Also Belzebub I was expecting different trajectory of your attack, especially since your win over Bais from the mentioned tournament is in your favourite games... where you were in a worse position for the most part...

just a few thing.. sasha gray i perfectly remember the game that u "lose for my fault!" and on wich u "allowed me to join.." this is ridicolous cos i really remember that game in wich i started sorrounded by 3 enemies in my 2 starting spots and we lose cos a noob was in our team and did never help us. and u are perfectly aware of that and the fact u mock me for that game is just very lame and false. for the other things, well, so u are sayng to me that if we change our team name in the gladiators (lamafia is very offensive for our culture btw) all this mess would be finished? elite is just a name and the fact that u feel insulted by this it is very very childish and lame. wmBais how can u say that we win only against noobs when we destroyed u?? btw i'm here just to have fun and reading over this forum i'm really laughing about how childish u are. i just want to play in a relaxed atmosphere. it is a game! it is not real life so if we have a offensive name just make a big laugh at us and pls stop to insult us without ever played with us, i really think that there are (or should be) more important things in ur life. btw if bel wont mind i'll propose him to change our name and our bio so that all u little babies wont cry and just leave us in peace as we always leave u.
