I used to play back in warlight days, using flash. Now, to use flash, I need to enable it on chrome each time works fine, just annoying having to enable it every time I play). So I thought I would try the new UJS web mode.

But every time in a game when I get to the stage of deploying troops in any turn, the game freezes, and then my screen goes black and I basically have to restart my computer. Any ideas as to what might be causing this issue?

Edit: Just to be clear, this only happens in the UJS mode, not in flash.

Chrome forces you to approve flash each time you use it. That is what OP is talking about.

Haven't heard about this before. Might be time for a bug report.

Once I've enabled adobe flash on chrome, it's fine. But if I exit chrome, then come back, it makes me have to enable adobe flash again. That's a browser thing rather than a game issue. But I'd love to be able to use the UJS web mode. The game crashing in that mode is the main issue I am addressing. I sent a bug report.

I talked to Fizzer, and he said it sounded like a computer problem rather than a game bug. So I updated everything on my computer (turns out my auto-update had somehow stopped working a while ago) and now everything seems to be working on UJS again. Thanks @Fizzer !

Glad it's working again. Windows has an annoying habit of switching off auto-updates, at least for me. 🤬

It might have been Chrome that wasn't auto updating, since the version of Windows shouldn't really affect UJS compatibility much.
