Wow, talk about reviving and old thread (and completely confusing me). Why not just invite jsa to a game like he said instead of bumping a thread that is 5 months old?

Also, I'm not sure you'll meet the standards. You have very few ranked matches and the record is pretty bad too. You can play me in a game and convince me otherwise though. I will invite you to a standard strategy game.

That was meant to be what P did but then JSA changed it to a clan which helps advanced players become even better.

Zxeta, why do you have {P} at the end of your name? You are not in the clan. Chris gave you a tryout game but you aren't good enough to be in the clan right now. Once you take the [P] off your name, I will gladly work with you but it has nothing to do with the clan.

Arun, must you start this again? I don't like getting in fights with you on the forums constantly so get off of [P]'s thread. [P]'s main goal was never to help new players get better. It was for a group of solid players to play against each other and enjoy themselves, and one of the benefits was improving overtime by learning from other friends in the clan. I never changed it for advanced players to become better either. You're just making stuff up as usual. Now please don't post in any threads centered on a clan I am in or else I will defend my clan. There's enough for you to worry about with your own clan.

You naturally assume that clans have to help new players become intermediate players. That's not the case. And you assume this because you "try" to do this with your clan. The purpose of [P] actually had little to do with any teaching, [P] had to do with multiple in-clan leagues and external clan leagues, as well as mandatory joining of the Proving Grounds. This meant you could play players more at your skill level while you were in [P], much easier.

I quit [P] because it was just too much for me to handle at the time. I think the main reason clans are created is something like this:

1. To group up players of similar skill level.
2. To potentially teach others the game.
3. Find partners easier, and become more competitive vs rival clans.
4. Group of friends/some common link.

So is p not a clan anymore? I'm confused

But, if P's goal was never to help new players get better why was it called progressive. Perhaps it wasn't new players, but just less advanced ones. I know that isn't the case now, as apparently your members are voting on a new name for it (is that Proving Ground? It's not very clear).

Well am not exactly sure about the goal of p however whatever there leader says it is has to be it.

[P] is still a clan at the moment. However, some of the better players in [P] have decided to make a new clan called [WG]. ChrisCMU is the leader of [WG] and the members of [P] are still deciding on the new leader since I stepped down once i joined apex. The problem was some of the guys in [P] that were as good or better than me many months ago, are now much worse and it is not as much fun to play with them. So [WG] has 5 of the best players that were in [P] and we will tryout any other [P] members who want to do it and see if they meet our standards. [P] is not dead yet though. They still have about 10 players and so will probably continue being a clan for a while.

Proving Ground is completely unrelated to the clan. It's just a thing I took over once the guy who made it became inactive. It is similar to [20].

Wow, that is dramatic. You had one match with me, didn't do well at all. JSA told you to work on it and get better.

Not sure how that means you should leave WL, but I guess that is your choice.

Also still not sure why you put the P in there in the middle of the match with me either. We hadn't even finished the game.
