Regio Coquus all the way. It's got a nice amount of spots for 1v1 games, and I could imagine small pick 2v2 games too. It's nicer graphically too, but that's not important to me. What is important, is that Blortis whooped my bottom on this map and I'm mad about it. >:D

I'm not a fan of the tiny maps, personally, but we gotta start somewhere.

Kyrgyzstan looks decent. I think it and Big Scania have some similar issues - not much variety in topography, and the appearance of a large brawly map. These issues get magnified by the size of the maps. Like the French Brawl template, but larger and slower. Tiny dots for territories representing cities are annoying, its understandable though.

Big Scania has a very nice touch with the airports. If the map was smaller I might have taken that one.

Oceania is probably my second pick despite the size. Looks nice for FFAs. The islands seem like they have too many chokepoints at first, but the interconnectivity makes it better. More like a maze than a great open plain. I'd prefer the tiny circles to be big enough to hold double digit armies cleanly, but that would be way more work.
