I know this is an audacious request but can we renovate QM a bit and make a template like Strat MME something you can choose from early on. I ask because the small earth map I find is really not my thing, and I can't seem to find the motivation to play it enough times to unlock better templates. :/

It’s literally 3 ranks away from the first template. just play it like 10 times

you only have to win 9 games in SE wich is easily done within 30 minutes given no one plays to elimination and you are somewhat good in the game.

you sometimes get people who surrender immediately, so just play it for 30 minutes. its not that bad.

I do agree that the first fixed templates shouldnt be shitty templates as they are now, but as pointed out you go through those first ranks fairly easily.

Small earth games are very fast and you can play multiple games at same time.
They're starting templates because it is easier for new players.

You do know you can disable templates in Quickmatch > Templates right?

I think he only has the SE one unlocked though, so he can't really disable that because he'd have nothing left

It really doesn't take much games to get past small earth and strat MME anyway. Just win more of those games. It's easy to get 10-15 runs on QM early on.

Auto-distribution can be nice and if you're lucky you can get lucky picks 70-80% of time.

okay. you said if you are lucky.. means you have more luck in general. woah you must be very lucky when you also have some picks in standard quality in between.. and sometimes some bad picks.

Yes. Just play 10 SE auto games and see how many times you get good picks.
