It's just typical. Players leave in boatloads as they get bored of this, and they are replaced by boatloads of new players. If hundreds of players are leaving, it's not dying when there's hundreds of players joining.

Sort of like how millions of cells in your body die each minute, and millions are born each minute.

Warzone is like most games, too many mouths and not enough to go around. I offer a solution, eliminate half, and warzone will prosper.

"Hundreds" is nothing. Like, literally. If you don't think this game gets at least 4-5 new players per hour you're delusional.

Hmm I think that the community (in the broader sense) is doing better than it seems, but many important people have retired or gone on hiatus. What do you mean by community? You mean the strat community or the entire warlight playing community?

I'm happy to see that ladders have been active. The one thing that bothers me has been open games, which have been in a rough spot for actually years now, so it's not something new. QM is the main focus and generates the most activity, and I get that and it's fine.

I think strat is lowering (if it is) because of the growing popularity of diplos.

Nobody understands the reason behind Jeffs post. Very disappointed!

Here's a tip for the future: try to be more specific then this in discussion and questions and such.
