In 1v1 strategic games, I believe I figured out, but I need someone to confirm this. You are guaranteed at least 1 of your top 2 picks. This is because if you and your opponent pick the same top 2, one will get #1 and the other will get #2 (and his #3.) Otherwise if the players pick different top 2 picks, then each one will get their #1 correct?
From what I recall, distribution is ABBAABBAA... Unless its changed.
And adapting to games with more than 2 players, you always get one of your first #numberofplayers pick. So 3 players - one pick from 1 to 3 is safe. And so on...
