The {101st} is publicly recruiting.

One of the first official clans to create a patron clan for its elite division, the {101st} has officially begun recruiting again. We are now recruiting players who are active and communicative, who also have a strong desire to become a part of the WarLight community as well as improve.

The {101st} Official Statement

Our community is built specifically for two types of players: those who enjoy playing on WarLight and those who want to improve. The {101st} was founded by Apollo in 2012 and created its official patron clan, [Lynx], in 2014. With the help of dedicated players, most notably Unreality and JSA, he has gone to make the elite [Lynx] division official, with a promotion system existing between the {101st} and [Lynx] for dedicated and improving players.

What You Can Gain from Joining the {101st}

The {101st} works on two separate levels, as stated above.

1. For those who enjoy playing on WarLight, this is a community that is based on semi-competitive systems that allow members to play casually.

2. For those wishing to improve our community is prepared to tutor and provides a relatively simplistic, but realistic rating system. Those who show significant improvement and score well on the ladders can apply to be promoted to the [Lynx] division which strives to become a well recognized competitive clan in the WarLight community.

*As a side note, there is a role-playing division within the {101st}. For players who show significant RP'ing skill and wish to focus on this, there is a member within the [Lynx] division who can refer you to the {RP} Guild, provided you pass an examination. This can be discussed on an individual basis.

Current Events

The {101st} has introduced its new government, the Black Lagoon. We're currently establishing a ranking system for members and formalizing the official clan policy.

The {101st} is also experimenting with setting up a ladder using Elo's original formula.

Lawlz, you have quite a reputation and not necessarily a positive one, but stipulations can be made, provided you message both the persons mentioned. They will be the ones to determine whether you can join the {101st} or not.

That's kind of the reason I asked for an exception. Guess I just worded it wrong.

There seems to be some confusion, let me clarify:

If you don't meet the prerequisites, but are interested in joining send a joint-mail to the two accounts listed. Decisions can be made on an individual basis. I'll edit that into the first post, as well.

Applying with alts is allowed but you need a good reason to and have proof.

If Apollo approves the entrance of an alt into the {101st} he will have his reasons for doing so.

However, you will be treated like a regular member and be expected to participate in at least a few of the clan events and you will have to disclose your main account's identity to Apollo and myself.

It seems to be derailing from general recruitment.

Alts aren't generally approved, but there's always room for exceptions. When I joined I was technically considered an alt and I let Apollo know this is my main account and which my original account was.

Since the {101st} isn't an elite clan, it doesn't have to be über-strict about recruitment policies, I think. We're not letting it become a [T4R] or Illuminati, but we don't have to put interested players through boot camp either. Just enough to see that they'll be an active and positive addition to the clan.

What was your main account Hauptmann? I can't remember if you've said before.
