Here is the voluntary tie-breaker for the three top 5-1 finalists from Group E. The head-to-head rule could not resolve the rankings. Let's hope the same thing doesn't happen again to them here!

Well, John, I only won my game against you, and honestly I made some unnecessary surrenders. That threw away may chances at not relegating. I just hope I can now at least maintain my Group C position.

Oh, and as for a name: how about the International Warlight League Association?

We could also make names for the separate groups. I'd like the name *The Ultimate League* for Group A, seeing it's the last one.
And perhaps we need a kind of trophy, like a golden cherry. Just as a tribute to the founder of it all.

Sorry for the double post, but I was just talking to Min on the brand new WL Chat, and I'd just like to give an advice for the division of the new groups in Season 3.
Right now, 10 people have signed in and just for now, I'm going to assume two more will join.
Like in Season 1, I think it'd be best to divide these people into the group F1 and F2.
Then the winners of these Fs will promote to E and the 2s and 3s maintain to form F together with 5 and 6 from E, Season 3. Finally the 4s up to 6s will make up Group G.
With the ten there are now, this will work the same, just with two groups of five and, normally speaking, only four people in G in season 4.

No we should name the divison after precious metals group

In fact, I somehow liked the name ProRel League. I'm not really sure why, but I think it is because ProRel sounds like a sponsor.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think something along the lines of what Domenico is proposing would be a good idea to accommodate all the new players. When we get close to the time for a new season with new expansion groups, we'll work something out to suit the number of new entrants known at that time.

On further reflection, I'm beginning to wonder if there is any reason not to begin two new round robins NOW (F1 and F2) and make them part of Season 2. Winners of each group would be promoted to E in season 3, the others would be sorted into F and G. Bottom rung of E (already known) would move to F.

If I hear no persuasive objections, I'll get this started soon so that it does not create more delay. Comments?

Here's the tentative structure for Season 3:

Group A: top 4 from A and top 2 from B
Group B: bottom 2 from A, middle 2 from B, top 2 from C
Group C: bottom 2 from B, middle 2 from C, Orange and Bore
Group D: bottom 2 from C, Aper, Nighthawk, Luxis and Kingu
Group E: SoccerdudeMike, Gameworldleader, Anakin, Elledee, Grzechoo, winners of F1 and F2
Group F: BostonPhoenix, GeneralArun, 2nd and 3rd from F1 and from F2
Group G: 4th, 5th, 6th from F1 and F2
Group H: 7th place finalists from F1 and F2 along with newcomers.

Notes:

- I like the precious medal designations, but I'm using letters here to keep it clear in my mind for now. But carry on with it.
- Dropouts may affect this organization somewhat.
- Group E will have 7 players probably for the last time in season 3.
- Luxis and Kingu are battling for top dog in the D tie-breaker, but they will both be promoted regardless.
- I apologize for abbreviating and misspelling people's names.
- I'll continue to try and answer questions. VaporX has volunteered to set up a website to allow following this more easily. Stay tuned.

Big fat update:

Some groups are progressing pretty quickly. Only one more game to complete in Group A, for example. This much we know:

Dunga is the supreme champ, winning group A. Not only that, but for the second straight season, he goes undefeated. He's the only one to go undefeated in either season and he does it twice. Congrat's!
