Hello dear warzone community,


Come play for the glory and help your country to be recognized as the best in the world.

Once per year, the Olympics will consist of 10 templates to play, therefore 10 golden medals to win! The first Olympics will virtually take place in Paris and will start in 2020.

List of "Paris 2020" templates:

1v1 Ladder (Main Event)
2v2 Ladder (Team Event)
1v1 French Brawl (Special Event)
1v1 Gotham City (Special Bonus system)
1v1 Battle Islands (Multi Attack)
1v1 MME (Commander+LD)
1v1 Guiroma (Commerce)
2v2 Macedonia (No-Split, Dense Fog)
3v3 Deadman's RoR
FFA Bakrannia

Notes:
-Tournaments must have a minimum of 20 players and 8 different nations to be played. If they failed those conditions, tournaments won't be played and players will be contacted to choose another template.
-The idea of the Olympics is to see differents sports, that's why I propose diversity in my templates.
-The Main Event will start the 5th of January 2020.


The main event is 1v1 Ladder, it's open for everyone, then you can play a maximum of 2 other templates. Teams must be from the same country and only one account is allowed per players.

All events will be Round Robins of [6-8] players, and winners will gather in new Round Robins until the Gold medal. You will play only 2 games simultaneously. (I may use -B new CLOT if it fits).

Notes & Rules

Countries:

I would recommand you play for the country you currently live in, (the flag you have in your profil).
But I would allow that you play for another countries if you have a real connection (born or grew up). Of course I can't check this information so I hope everybody will play along.

Drawing:
Based on the total number of players, I will determine the RR's sizes (6 to 8). Then I will sort the players with their current levels and randomly assign them in the tournaments. Best levels will be in hat #1, and can't play eachother until next round.

If I'm not mistaken, Hong Kong represent Hong Kong at the real Olympics so I will keep it the same.

Here are some questions and hopefully answers -
1. How many players can do participate from each for country?
2. Do my teammates have to be from USA?
3. And I will get to play all templates listed above, correct? Or do I get to choose the templates i play?
4. Am I going to be the only one representing USA?

1. All players can join the tournaments (limited to the main event and 2 others templates) even if there are 80% of USA players. I just need a minimum of 20 players and 8 differents nations by template to be played.
2. Yes your teammates have to be from USA, if we mixed teams, the it's not the olympics idea..
3. You are limited to the main event and 2 templates of your choice max. So you can play only 3 tournaments maximum.
4. I hope many americans will join but I can't be sure of the frequentation right now. I can only tell you that I will advertise.

I will send the invitation the 5th and hopefully people won't be long to accept ;)

Thanks for answering my questions. If I'm only participating in a 2v2 event and a 1v1 (and of course main), why then would I need 2 teammates?

At first I also wanted to name my templates after real olympics events. For exemple my main Event is like the 100m men^^
