if 7.5 % of all wages in the private sector comes from bonuses, then it seems like what your describing is not in any way representative since this is only one of many factors that affect wages.

This will be my final comment, I hope this sums it up.

I agree with you that wages, in the long-run, vary between employees, as employee-boss relationship improves throughout a career, I imagine employees would find themselves in better positions to ask for salary increases. I don't have extensive experience in the workforce, and I certainly don't have a career, but I see what you are saying, there are a lot of factors that could affect wages in the long-run.
I hope there is no animosity between us, it was nice talking about this.
On a more serious note, if you ever want to play 1v1 against me I would be more than happy to accept. I like to think I am an above average player, highest I've pushed in 1v1 ladder is 24th.
