There is an extremely close fight going on for 1st place between Germany, France, USA and Germany B, and we are already in the last round, so the first season is almost over.

I have an objection! Why are Australia and New Zealand on the same team? We clearly don't need the Kiwis to win.

@Viking: Not true, since Germany A and B both have higher chances due to previous round results.

@AI: ok. I was rough estimated it. it is probably more like 65% for a Germany team and like 17.5% chance for other teams?

I mean, it's hard to tell and I am biased towards Germany. Furthermore, Ger B beat USA C today, which imo switches things around in the way, that USA can't win it anymore (due to H2H results and the like).
So, chances in my opinion are 60% Germany A, 30% Germany B and 10% France. But I could be mistaken.

If Germany A at least draws against the USA, they win.
Else, if Germany B wins at least 2 of their 5 remaining games, they win.
Else France wins.

The USA is guaranteed at least 4th place. They will get 3rd if either their A team beats Germany, or if both Switzerland and Netherlands fail to win their matchups.
Switzerland can get 3rd if they beat Nordics and USA doesn't beat Germany.
The Netherlands can get 3rd if they beat Poland and neither USA A nor Switzerland wins their matchups.

As always keep in mind that I could be missing something (I don't think I am)
Noone else can finish 3rd.

Germany B wins a game, but loses another 2. Now it's guaranteed that some German team will finish at 1st place, but it could be a shared 1st place between Germany B and France.
Germany B has 2 games left. They need to win one to eliminate France from the race for gold, leaving only Germany A and B.
