I think it needs to be strategic 1v1 because it's a community thing and that's the most played template, so more people will have something decent to submit to the discussion.

Agreed. It's still the most widely accepted Strategic template.

EDIT: Also what template? We've decided strat 1v1, but with 16% WR or 0% SR? The first is classic-y but 0% SR avoids confusion and makes everything less messy.

Question though, how does luck make it messy? You can simply say that a attack failed and provide a screenshot. (Also, has Fizzer agreed on doing that again or not?)

I'm surprised not to see Sze on the panel, it he not doing it?

I would automatically opt for the standard 16% WR but since it not a best of 3 and failed attacks would make it more difficult I think I might go for 0% SR. It would be important to make it clear that they're not standard settings.

I think best option for luck settings is 0% but WR. It stil leaves the strategic decisions of choosing whether to hit 4v2 or 3v2 but it prevents anomalies such as 7v4 and 5v3 fails.

this is interesting... but wouldn't it be relatively easy for the player to just look at what move is most voted for and then counter that move?

Ok, I'll join the panel, but mostly it's because I like the choice for The Player, I thought Mannerheim's playstyle was to an extent similar to mine :)
