When are trophies awarded for the ladder?
Recently a team I was on managed to top the 2v2 ladder ( I think we were number 1 for around 26 hours or so) yet we never received the trophy for it, is this normal and if so how do you get the trophy?

hmm, I thought there were trophies for the ladders... I mean, there ARE trophies for the ladders. maybe you have to hold your 1st place for 48 hours? idk

Could be something like holding it for a little longer, just curious what exactly the system is.

a) @Viking: if you have no clue about a topic, don't post. theorycrafting is not helpful for the person asking.

b) trophies are awareded once every 24h. whoever is in first place at that moment will receive the trophy - unless he owns it already.

Normal, has occurred before and there are players with #1 but no trophy. You need to be nr 1 at the right time, not for x hours. Which, if I recall right, is GMT +0 @ 00:00. If you have #1 for 24 hours, then you should not be able to miss it, except in the rare event that warzone has a server issue. Also, I think you have to be joined at the time, so if your partner leaves the 2v2 ladder, you can't get the trophy even if you have #1 rank.

The time isn't fixed completely... It may vary a bit from what i remember. Like the game creation on seasonal. There have been instances where players missed out on the trophy even after 24 hours. That was likely due to server problems though and also quite a while ago

Looking at the times it could be "bad timing" bc you weren't ranked before

you won your 10th game at 10/10/19 10:01:57
looking at your rank history you got ranked 10/11/19 around 20:00:00 maybe 21:00:00

we won our next game 10/11 12:30:33 - our rank history isn't readable anymore since we play at the ladder for too long, but i guess we got our points before 00:00:00 where the trophy is given - so we were 1st again before this magical time happend

Yeah mod is right too, there is some variation in the time. At least I have heard so before. Not really sure how big this variation is, but I think the ladders just starts a script at the beginning of a new server day, then does some task which takes a variable amount of time. One of those tasks is to check the trophy for #1. I don't think it's possible to get a trophy before 00:00, but I think I have heard they are given up to several minutes after, maybe more.

Stuff like this is hard (for us players) to know for sure, but we can at least speculate :P

As we are speaking of speculating, some players (maybe all) had issues accessing warzone on Friday for some amount of time (wasn't really around midnight, but hey speculating). Maybe the ladder job was delayed that day? Based on the dates Rheumakey gave, it's possible you lost out on a trophy due to server issues at least and a tiny bit more then a wild guess.

I think it happens on a specific time. for example i got my 2v2 trophy 2 hours after the last win on 03:00 (gmt+2) when the ladder refreshed
