I suggest doing the Han-Xiongnu War. It's basically a series of wars between the Han Dynasty and the Xiongnu tribe that spans over 200 years.
Edit: The time frame is from 133 BC to 89 CE (It’s a 221 year span) and for the map, I would suggest using
either https://www.warzone.com/Map/24311-AD-1045-Roads-Silk-Iron (Only fill in Asia) or https://www.warzone.com/Map/23058-Geopolitical-Earth-2016 (Same thing). As for the settings, the two things I would suggest are having the boot time 3 days and having the light fog, the rest is up to you.
