Hi Jupiter, I don't think what Gnuffone did merits a permanent ban from this game. A suspension for violation of 'operating in multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage' and the removal of his ladder statistics (if possible) may be in order, but I dont think Fizzer will ban him permanently, especially since he has a membership. (members get more lenient punishments)

I can understand the damage that he has done to you and your clan, but it seems that Gnuffone has already been punished by the decrease in respect people have for him. Also, I also believe he isn't the only one, Beelz confessed to cheating after his astronomical ladder rating. It seems that most people has either forgotten or doesn't mind too much about this, especially after his apology. My advice is to draw a line under this incident, blacklist him and move on. :)

Yeah, by the letter and spirit of the rules he should have received punishment by now. I don't understand why anyone would be against that. I assume noone has given fizzer evidence and fizz isnt much interested in seeking any out. He stepped in and caught voodoo so voodoo got punished, but gnuff didnt get caught in the act so he goes free, even though what he did was much worse. Id rather keep him around, I like playing against him.

Exactly. Fridge shot me down when I said the same and all his clan and friends seem to treat it as a minor infringement. He didbthisbto gain the achievements to look better; tarnishing his profile is the best way to punish this. Put a prominent banned for violating rules and take away every ladder achievement and statistic.

It isn't personal. It's the fact that he has got away with everything! He doesn't care about his rep because it is only a few forumers. He cares about having the achievements on his profile. This should not be entertained.

To try and quieten people. He doesn't want Fizzer to react to the voice of a large group calling for punishment. But to be honest here, Fizzer is displaying blatant favouritism towards Gnuffone for whatever reason. How can he let him off the hook?

I believe member accounts get more leninet punishment. I've never heard of a membership account getting a perm ban. Whether or not he is in WM is Anonymous' decision.

It's not playing favorites. You're asking him to take time away from the development of the game in order to ban a single person and design his page to make cheater more visible. Is a waste of time.

Jehovah, if he won't ban for this he won't ban for anything, which I can understand for members (as long as it is all members). But his achievements should surely all be removed. As it is, he has had NO punishment!

The argument "Gnuffone has already been punished by the decrease in respect people have for him." is not a good argument. A murderer or rapist whos face has been in the media has also lost his life. Wont be able to live or work anywhere normally. Still we put them in jail, why? Because they still need to get punished. Same goes here. There are rules, and you need to listen to them. If you don`t you have to be punished. I do agree a perm ban is way to much for this, but a punishment has to be given.
