Please guys be serious. Team Sebia have just set up vacation mode LOL. I would be inactive from 16 july to 30 August so should i take a series of vacation mode then too ?
I allowed vacation mode only during the group stage, this stage can go slower because the matches can overlay each other without further costs.
Substitutions were just for a period of a few days to teams organize themselfs. The next rounds probably wont allow substitutions after the line-up is displayed.
I will have rules to force end games at right time when necessary. Will be the rules like the ladder season + some kind of delaying punishment.
It turns out Domenico is on vacation; I was instructed by my team leader to edit the games he was in (the 3v3s and the 7v7), substituting myself for Domenico. The game links remain the same and all those games have now progressed to territory selection.
Ties would not be possible if each match were played out but otherwise that seems reasonable. Not sure if a strict time limit is the best idea - too easy to drag out a lost cause - but dunga seems to be implying we'd adjudicate the games somehow. Maybe we need a panel of judges? Or establish some simple criteria like what happens in the seasonal ladders?
Dunga said earlier that he would adjudicate the position, but take into account whose fault it is that it did not finish on time. I think he wanted to avoid a specific system since that'd let people game that system rather than game Warlight :)
