Anyone have any tips on how to beat the AI on Concordia duel? I have tried to break through Insula Latinae and break wherever possible. I have counterattacked effectively through insula securitiatis while breaking the AI's territory holdings, but I am always at least one territory grouping away from having a similar of higher army income and am at a real disadvantage because I am holding one of the AI's territories in a bunch of area, and the AI is close to breaking my territory groupings and while I have to defend everywhere to keep even close to his income, he can group armies in one spot (which I cannot anticipate) and take a territory from me that leads me to a permanent disadvantage. Any advice on how to get the upper hand would be great. Do I need to try to get the Lynx 1 point income? Pursuing that has always just meant that I am not effective at all in breaking AI's holdings.

Don't worry about Lynx - the 1 extra army makes little difference. Punch though Insula Securitatis to deny him the 3 point bonus and expand from there to knock out his 4 and 5 point bonuses. He plays a sanction card to permanently drop you to 50% income, so afterwards puncturing each of his bonuses is more important than defending your bonuses. Keep him out of the heartland, but let him break your border bonuses. Only after you have broken all of his bonuses should you seek to get any more bonuses of your own. -4 for him is better than +2 for you. Insula Latinae might be a better choice (I didn't try that), but take just one or the other. Good Luck!
