The tournaemtns for Season 5 will be made between May 3 and May 10 depending on when I have time to make the tournaments. About 30-35 players have been asked if they wanted to compete in [20A], and we now have exactly 20. A couple made it through the qualifying, one made it by winning [20B], and about 5-6 were voted in. The other half were previous members.
Here are the [20A] players: Fridge (Season 4 member) abr (2nd place in qualifying) dead piggy (Season 4 member) EZPickens (Season 4 member) Falker (Season 4 member) Flyingbender (voted in) Frankdeslimste (Season 4 member) Gambler (voted in) grona (voted in) Heyheuhei (longtime [20A] participant) Julkorn (voted in) Kryzchu (voted in) Longhouse (Season 4 member) marc (Season 4 member) Oliebol (voted in) Robin Hood (1st place in qualifying) Summer (20B winner last season) TheWarlightMaster (voted in) Timinator (Season 4 member) Widzisz (voted in)
No clan has more than 4 members in it.
These 20 players (minus a couple who were late replacements) have voted on the settings for [20] this season. You might be surprised at the results: Strategic 1v1 Guiroma 2v2 Ursa Luna 3v3

The [20C] players: 125Ch Azazel bananbird Bjarke ChrisCMU czajnik desi Dreamworker Dwooggee gabriele giovanni Hauptmann Kingu Lolowut Niko Phaeril ps Sarutobi schmidt Sirius slammy The Gas Lamp Killer The Duke of Ben Vendetta Ze
No clan has more than 4 members in it.
[20] will also include some other type of competetion besides just the Round Robins in which all [20] members can participate. More details will come in the future.
There will also be a series of Round Robins called Proving Ground which players can choose to participate in. There will be another event identical to [20]'s other event. Basically, Proving Ground is for players that are a)not well known but might be good players or b)not good enough for [20] yet but still decent players. Proving Ground will use the same templates as [20].
There will also be a series of Round Robins called Learning Ground. This is for players that are either very early in their process of learning warlight, or are just playing for fun and want some more games. Learning Ground will use the same templates and format as [20] and Proving Ground.
Let me know if you are interested in playing one of these this season, and I'll do my best to place you appropriately.

3 day autoboot with vacations honored. Team games: The only rule is that you can not have the same teammate for both 2v2 and 3v3. 1 game at a time in each tournament, so 3 games at a time total.

Hmm, I'd be up for proving grounds, or learning I suppose, but I think proving sounds like a better fit.

I believe Garret, Lord of VIW (i dont remember how to spell his name), NoobSchool, and Oh Noes are the only 4 in [20B] who were not top 10 in the 1v1 ladder. Garrett will be invited because he has a strong performance on the 1v1 ladder and he is doing very well in the seasonal. Lord had an amazing clan league performance. NoobSchool is just so consistent and has done decently well on the 2v2 ladder and has had many strong tournament performances against good players. Oh Noes has been near top 10 consistently on the 1v1 ladder and has also done well on the 2v2 ladder.
It looks like Proving Ground A and B will be strong (mostly top 50 1v1 ladder players), while C will be decent players (more like top 100 1v1 ladder with exceptions). Learning Ground A will be for others (probably only one division of Learning Ground). If you do well in Learning Ground, chances are you will be in Proving Ground next season. Same with Proving Ground to [20].
Please let me know by May 3 if you are intersted. Thanks!
