Hi JSA, I have greatly reduced my presence in tournament (so it is why we don't meet anymore like the last year, and it was pretty cool), but this one seems to be "particular" and I pretty important to heard about it in ligue France. So, why not ?

I saw I have chose to play in C, and I know I didn't play enough in 1v1 ladder to prove anything, so I'm glad to have the opportunity to play in C. Have you already launch the invitations ? I have probably refused it by rote (like always... and I also don't watch the forum if nobody tells me to look at a specific thing). Please, can you invite me again if it is the case ?

However, can I have some clarifications ?
I believe to understand that players in A, B and C have always invited for their perfomances outside this tournament, right ? And there is only one up and down in each league ?

Do I have a chance to climb the ladder without having to play elsewhere to let me know?

So if I finished the C at 2/25, and don't play 1v1 ladder, or other notable tournament or league, it will be asked me to play in C or proving in the next season ?

I currently play only in "Ligue France" for 1v1, and in the ladder in 2v2 (because of no other good league in 2v2).
I don't play in Ligue France in order to play just with french people... but because it is a stable tournament with good players (Grona, Wazz, Niko, Ze, General Charles, Buddha, Marc etc), with a change of settings in each season (play in 1v1 ladder template during 6 month is so boring), and MAINLY your evolution in league does not depend on your outdoor performances: so you can up without play in ladder or other notable tournament. After few season, your position depend of your level, and not of your significant presence, your time to play, or just the degree of importance you have in the mind of a little group of player or any form of elitist and sometimes (I said sometimes) wrong vote.

I remember I played a proving with you few month ago (I didn't know what it was, but now I understand^^) and with Ze we won the 2v2 and toke the two first places in 1v1, is it why we can play in C today ?

I need to know if this can be consistent tournament in which I could possibly evolve.

Ursa Luna looks pretty cool (visually), but it seems like it requires lots of zooming. Some of those territories are pretty small. Anyway, would really appreciate the templates when you have a chance.

If you play from your Tablet or phone, then yes. In other cases, No.

Phaeril, I go by 1. Ladder peformances, 2. Tournament performances, 3. Stats, 4. Skill level wehn I watch your games. All 4 are involved.

If you finish second in [20C] and don't play any ladders or anything, it is very likely you will be invited to [20B] the next season. Many players that seem to be good, possibly very good, and that I havent' seen much of, are in [20C]. I think you fall into this category.

One thing that is guarenteed without doubt: If you win [20C], you will be in [20A] or [20B] next season, and if you win [20B], you will be in [20A] the next season. Everything else in [20A] is up for returning players to decide; everything else in [20B] and [20C] will be based on the 4 things I listed above.

And Wazz was one of the players who ended up getting enough votes for [20A] but declined.

I like idea with Ursa Luna map. It's always good to test new maps (well at least it's kinda new to me), and this one currently is rated most high of all maps, so might be interesting :)

Maybe 1 thing I would change in template is adding some wastelands (actually Pushover idea). With alot of +1 bonuses we might end up seeing all players picking the same territories in every game...

IMO killing overlapping bonuses couldn't hurt either. But I'm sorta biased :)

I'd rather not change t settings. I'm assuming when they voted, they meant these exact settings. It will probably be more about gameplay and predicting than picks which is a nice change from Europe 3v3 which is mostly picks. I'm sure if it eds up bad this season, we won't experiment as much in the future with maps in 20.

1 bad experiment should not prevent you from further experimentation. One of the things about [20] is to change things up each season and introduce a new element to how you think about the game. I would love to play the new 3v3 settings, just I don't want to play 1v1 or 2v2. I may think of using it for an invitational or a double elim tournament. Maybe make it a clan mixer or something.
