Hello. We have finished our first map called 'Light Earth' it is the opposite of heavy Earth and has been made on Earth by Grundie: http://warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=32338

With our first map completed its time to move on to another. Therefore I'd love the warlight community to throw requests or suggestions. (Be sensible ;) ) we will be looking at a slightly bigger project than the last. Once we have suggestions, a poll will be created and the community will have a chance to cast their vote.

Perhaps not strictly relevant but I really like how Light Earth turned out - nice job. I can't wait to play it.

@Ra: It's not one of the most beautiful maps - not a patch on any of yours. But it can't be, it is in essence an edited Earth map and you need to keep the feel of the original. The borders are done well (you could even say better than Earth?) and I admit I did see the myriad of missed connections. The bonuses are fairly balanced and geographically alright, and I think it's really the best anyone could have done with the objective they had. I'd say they've done a 'nice job'.

Some suggestions;


Change South America to Latin America. Since Latin America includes South America and Carribean.

Change Artic to Scandinavia. Since Scandinavia includes the Scandinavia peninsula,Denmark and Iceland.

Except Denmark is not in Arctic in this map. Although arctic would still work.
My suggestion is the Land of Narnia.

Brazil doesn't connect to Argentina

And Russkya doesn't connect to Western South Pole

And Rostock doesn't connect to Scott

And Israel to Iraq

And Poland to Ukraine

And Perm to Ufa

And Shaanxi to Beijing

And Zigansk to Irkutsk

And Chita to Zigansk

And Congo to Chad

And Dakota to Texas

And Sudan to Libya

And Tadchikistan (sic; should be Tajikistan) to Afghanistan

And Eastern Kazakhstan to Kyrgystan

And Harbin to Inner Mongolia

And Washington to Montana

And Montana to Dakota

And Arizona to Baja, though this one is hard to see, I'm pretty sure they visually connect

Same tricky maybe connection between Texas and Rockies

And same tricky connection between India and Xinjiang

Maybe a big map (1000+ territories) of Indonesia. There is only one map of indonesia which has 47 territories.

I started the Holy Roman Empire also, however it's based on 1789. So maybe you could do one earlier. Maybe 1000:

Thank you guys for suggestions, I will change Latin America, but I'm going to keep Arctic. Also good suggestions for next project, keep them coming!

A few unfinished maps of mine- maybe you can make instead:
•Greek Conquest (Ancient Greek States)
•Napoleonic Europe (May carry on with this, but I'm not sure)

WRONG!
Scandinavia is just Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Iceland and Finland are often associated with it but not part of it. What you mean is the Nordic countries, which includes Iceland, Finland and Greenland.

We will be using Arctic, as it includes parts of Greenland, Norway, Sweden, Finland. This map will be published in the coming week. We are just testing it at this moment in time. As for the next map, thank you for voting and we will be making Ancient Greece. As there is a map with the same name, it will be called Ancient Hellas instead. This time 3 players are working on the map, with 2 players in reserve. It's not to late to help, if you want to take part or join the guild. Plz message me.

Multiple projects may be a definite possibility as we have the numbers for it (and we will only grow).
