I feel I have been around long enough to comment and not to long that I just accept the norm
Some of these comments I have put in other threads already.
But here is how I currently see things
We should have a seperate forum for ideas where things can be thrown out there and disagreed with or tweaked by other forum users etc
Fizzer knows his workload and how long different changes might take to implement
He can get some idea of popularity/negativity from the ideas forum thread
Fizzer then at any time choose what he wants to work on
His head for example might be in the wrong place for a heavy implementation - maybe he has just done one of those - but fine for knocking some more minor changes on their heads
If he wishes to put a number of what next to do forum threads up then we can throw comments and ideas around
And then if he thinks it would help have a vote on Uservoice of the ones that he is thinking might be best to work on next.

What this then does overall is allow the spiralling into joint ideas to a game or interface change .

For fizzer to still have control of what next but through seeing and seeking counsel to guide him
A user's voice that is kept fresh and comes alive when it needs to be rather than having things like adapt for Windows phone etc

Votes by users that are kept up-to-date better
Rather than odd and old votes all over and on projects that will probably just sit there with their votes just dead and tied up

When it comes to "what next time" it is dynamic and alive and those currently playing have their say and influence direction
Rather than votes on user voice being from long gone players or no longer sat on projects that are never going to happen

Why did you just make two forum threads of the exact same thing?

Because I like wasting my own and other people's time
Why I even did both seperately but manually word by word

So my current thoughts on this are still that user voice should go but maybe have two sub forums for ideas
One for interface improvements that will usually be pretty small such as chat show most recent first when loading older chats
And one for game changes etc
i picture these as usually being bigger and might start from a vague idea and spiral into something more solid with multiple inputs from people
