Could there be an explanation by the clan league panel for why it was considered a positive change to ask clans to rank 27 1v1s, 15 2v2s and 3v3s? Why change from the old system?

I'm curious for the logic behind such a change.

where is the voting process outlined? i don't see it in the first post, just the time period and weight. also, in the future can we send out mail for important deadlines? i don't use the forums much at all.

wondering why EU would be 50 percent penalized when it wasn't in the last season but was in 5 of 6 previous. feels like the last season should weigh more than historical seasons.

I suggested in the CL improvements thread making the deduction only for the past 3 leagues.

No. If we do it that way the deduction is pointless and will have no effect on limiting the most popular templates.

The system uses Dowdall to downplay the effect of the large system, since a first place vote is literally the same amount of points as a second place vote (.5). For a template as popular as EU, it should be able to overcome this.

God forbid we play a popular template like 3v3 Europe. Think it would upset everyone if it gets selected!

One day left to vote. Only 6 clans thus far have done so (A and B clans only). I don't want anyone who doesn't vote to be angry at me because of the results. :P

honestly i have said this quite a few times, but doing this important stuff via forums is BAD. why do all these important things happen this way? when i ran the league we had a chat game with all the leaders. this shit should pop up for people like me who don't use the forums at all. yes, my fault for missing it but honestly if you want a good league with every mostly happy you should make the communication more intentional that forums.

Chris, it is communicated in many ways, not only through the forum. A CL panel member has also PMed me with multiple reminders, plus there is the official discord server

Where is the list of voted templates?

Nemo it's still under debate, because a bunch of people are complaining about the penalties, so the announcement seems to have been postponed while that's under discussion (even though Cowboy already released the list on discord).
