@VERNAL VINAIGRETTE: That was a very conservative assumption. As a basis for my calculation I thought about what you earn as a Java freelancer in Germany. Here the salary usually starts at 70€ per hour. The average is about 80€ per hour (
https://www.freelancermap.de/?module=freelancer&func=suchergebnisse&expert_search=0&qall=java&profisuche=0&q_id_plattform=1&id_plattform=1&redirect=1).
From what I have heard in the States the salaries are higher than in Germany however there it depends more on where you live. 70€ translates to 76 dollars.
WarLight includes various technologies I know about (C#, Flash, various frontend technologies, Unity) and probably some more. Apart from Flash those technologies are high in demand. If hired as a pure developer the builder of WarLight should aim for about 100$ per hour (according to German standards). If he finds a company which hires him as an architect the upper end of his salary should be completely open (especially in the States, not so much in Germany).
However those numbers were just to show that the WarLight website site has most likely no value at all if you indeed need a full time developer in order to run it. If WarLight is mature enough that you can run the site with some coding at weekend, then we might be starting to talk business.
